I just downloaded another patch of 1.06GB, but I downloaded the exact same size yesterday. This also happened to WoW Forever a week ago and haven’t touched the game since then, those were 5gb+ patches.
I can’t continue to download these, because I at times play on a hotspot, and am limited to 50gb per billing cycle.
Is there a known bug for this?
Happening to me as well. Every time I close and reopen battle.net I have multiple patches for every version of WoW (Classic, MoP, Forever, Retail) and they are always huge, like 5+ gb each. And not only that, they are downloading extremely slowly which makes it even worse. For whatever reason it seems like not aa lot of people are talking about this happening.
I tried to reinstall battle.net, but that didn’t fix the issue.
Just now, after updating prior to my initial post. I closed out wow and just booted up Battle.net, and now have another patch download of 1.06GB (The same size as the initial one).
I do not understand what is causing this. I can pause the download after it calculates the size and hit the play button, but it is greyed out until you let it calculate the download size.
Something is broken. This can’t be deliberate.
