In Westfall now and there’s hundreds of mobs everywhere being attacked by ghost players. Any fix for this?

No, its a bug of some sort. Cant do anything. I’m literally staring at a swarms of 100+ mobs on the roads. Not a complaint other than how do I resolve the issue

I am also in Westfall. I was the only person as far as I can see. The layering has major issue and the game feels empty.

Today’s beta feature is called Whack-a-Mole™
Attack mobs on your screen at random until you find the ones actually on your layer.

I’ve not noticed ghost mobs being attacked by nothing but I have noticed a bunch of players fighting nothing
Anyway phasing is weird. There are some spots in the game where everyone around me just vanishes and other spots that are empty and then I step closer and like 10 people spawn in.
Last night joined a party to kill a mob and we got put into different layers to fight the thing. I don’t know how this made it out of the beta in this state honestly

Yep, tons and tons of mobs but you can’t kill a single one..lol
LOL completely missed the point - There a bug merging layers into one where 100’s of mobs are converging that just started 10 minutes ago.

No there are 1,000’s of mobs and duplicates of NPCs because all the layers are on 1. It’s not playable.

I had a guy die right in front of me and whisper to me to rez him, and when I moved my character closer to do so his body completely disappeared.
Yeah travel has been weird too. Leave on a boat with 4 players on it and then you arrive to your destination with like 50 players on the boat

The layers are merging into one. If you play whack a mole you might find a mob on your layer to kill. Its happening all over.

Seeing multiple of the same NPCs, and multiple mobs that I cannot do anything to. Cannot tag anything.

It resolved for a moment then came back. I cant seem to post a screenshot. But it’s bananas

Yeah, they need to take servers down and reset the layering again - everything is completely broken. I was layered from my own corpse and literally couldn’t respawn.

I just had the same problem. I tried to resurrect my pet a few times but he kept dying over and over to invisible mobs. I gave up and logged out for now because I didn’t want my cool looking polar bear to run away from unhappiness.
