That may be the definition of automation, but that isn’t where Activision has the issue.
Their issue seems to come from botting; The act of starting up a script and the game having the ability to play itself.
When I’m multi-boxing the toons can’t do anything unless I am there and controlling them. If I bot on the other hand. I start up the game and script and can go for a walk for the day and the game will continue to play itself regardless if I am there or not.
