The number of players multiboxing on my server (WrA) has grown to levels where it is making the game miserable for me.
I have been playing WoW for over a decade and have over a year of game time on my main. I love WoW but if I can’t enjoy the game I will not play it.
Please put a stop to multiboxing!

They prob get the herbs/ores op is farming
To op, just go in the other direction, try a differnt zone or turn wm on and kill them
But im with you, they should be banned. There no better then bots. But blizz wants your cash so they won’t do anything about it

I have a question, who is sadder, a multiboxer who is abusing the system or the people who defend someone who is abusing the system to the detriment of everyone else?

Ran some dungeons yesterday on my lowbie death knight. Two shamans came in when it popped. Guy asked for a quick afk. I got suspicious because both of them looked the same and both went afk. After about 10 mins he came back after we cleared trash up to the first boss. After my lord got his crap straight, I proceeded to out dps both of his characters combined.

The saddest are the ones repeating lying (they are not abusing the system) about something that they don’t like.
Every conceivable argument against MB has been tried… and failed.

I think MBers dont do nearly as good as some claim.
Ive tried it. Its not what its cracked up to be. Maybe for farming mats.
Multi-boxing shouldn’t be removed, multi-tap nodes should be.
Theoretically, someone could set up bots to run simultaneously to exploit nodes, even though it should send up massive flags in the system.

Wasn’t WrA always a multiboxing server?
Multiboxers very much abuse a system that was not intended to do for them what it does for them. The reason multitap was added to gathering nodes was to allow for more people to be able to get herbs and ore, not for one person to get more from a single node. Blizzard allows multiboxers and ignores their abuse of the multitap system because multiboxers make them 2x, 3x, 4x, sometimes 5x the money and beyond.

And no one would argue with that because you’d all be playing your one character.
According to Blizzard’s own explanation for changing gathering, multi-boxing to gather is abuse; it was done so individual players didn’t have to compete for nodes, not so multi-boxers could gather.
Even though whoever implemented the system would have to be a massive airhead to not realize multi-boxers would abuse it.
