Multiboxing

because that was most of the whining i saw in here about boxing.

uh…wrong.
boxing isnt against the rules. And the changes they made literally didnt affect MY boxing in the least. I always controlled it manually. which isnt that hard  :+1:

for me it just wasnt enough fun to bother with.
I used to four box dungeons and old raids for mogs to make sure I could use every drop, but it just wasnt enjoyable enough to pay for a couple extra accounts

I didn’t realize that me and my lowbie alt running around in lowbie places on a low pop server in Chromie Time for mats to make my own transmogs was such an abhorrence to you.

But it definitely isn’t all of us hating it.

Bots aren’t the same as us casual multiboxers who use it for our own stuff and sometimes RP.

If only they’d ban chatgp spamming posters too.

Kind of legit question: am I allowed to multibox to say, do dungies on one toon and chill at the AH on another assuming no 3rd party scripts or anything?

that isnt logical.
Hunter Pet specs were removed and it was HARDLY a vast majority of players whining about hunter pet specs.
it just takes a couple blizzard employees getting bent about something for OUR game to be wrecked and you know it. lol.

what are you talking about? go look it up for yourself.

OP, not you.

Some. ESO doesn’t allow it in any form. You are permitted to have multiple accounts but they cannot be played simultaneously, regardless of how it is done. So they are even more severe than Blizzard in that regard.

I hope you dont run software to control your other toons lmao

That is because it is free to play that game. If they allowed it then nothing would stop millions of people making dozens of accounts or even hundreds of accounts as the accounts all come zero sub needed. Almost all MMOs that have no sub dont allow multiboxing, most that have a sub do allow it.

Absolutely! I run three clients myself for AH/Trade chat and doing the rest of the activities I need to get done.

It’s free to play on a very limited basis. You still need to buy the game and you cannot play all the expansions, just the basic ones. Also your gameplay is very limtied; it is designed to provide a method to try it out and see if you like it, and if you do, be tempted into paying the sub which offers a HUGE amount of extra content and QoL stuff.

It is not so much banned because its F2P but because of mboxing’s effect on an economy based on merchant guilds, which are central to most serious ESO gaming. Materials are very easily available out in the world; you can’t ride 10’ without walking over one (and I’m not exaggerating, stuff is everywhere) and guild members provide mats to each other at reasonable prices, so players can get on with their serious gameplay. So there is zero need to have mboxers gathering stuff when you can grab it yourself as you are travelling.

Because you don’t know where to look.

Why wouldn’t it still be a thing?

You only need to buy Dragonflight. A sub gets you access to the game up to DF and includes Classic.

I am talking about ESO, not WoW.

Oops, my bad. Sorry!

i think if you pay for a few accounts at once you should be able to multibox, i tried two accounts at once but meh i dident like  and i have a few accounts , multiboxing actually quite hard to do
