Multiboxing positivity

There’s a handful here. One guy in the thread claims that they’ve seen numerous multi-boxers flying around 20 tapping nodes, then when they got called out on it by a few people they still defended their position and said they saw it. lol

It’s hilarious to see people against something when they don’t even know what it is or how it works.

Right now? Leveling  Leveling 52 more characters to 120  All I do, all day, everyday, is quest.

Right so that’s 51 additional more quest rewards you receive than a Individual character.

My issues are for the people griefing with them in pvp or farming with them in a way that severely benefits the person running the bots/macros and floods the market and over all harms the normal everyday players experience due to massive inflation.

Surely you thought of ways to farm or benefit yourself with running so many additional toons/accounts off of 1 mouse and keyboard.

Like instance farmers.

Whoopdedoo

I could, but I don’t like it, I find it annoying and I got other stuff to do.

I only started multiboxing because there’s a 50 character cap on accounts. If the character cap was 400 (50 * 8 accounts allowed on a bnet account) I wouldn’t have started multiboxing. I think in another 15 years there’s going to be even more multiboxers for the same reason.

why wouldn’t I?

there is no logic to it though.

this guy is arguing that it’s impossible that a group of 20 or more would farm. I saw it. I never said I see it often. I’m just saying that there have been multi boxers on tich, doing PvP events and farming. I don’t understand why this is so difficult to grasp. it’s pathetic.

news flash… maybe they are mostly doing it for pvp but also farm in the process.

fine. you want to defend multiboxing. that says enough about you. I know what I saw. call me a liar all day. doesn’t change what I saw.

you are calling me a liar. you are nothing short of saying it was impossible.

what is the matter with you?

when you don’t have a proper response, this is the stuff you vomit up?

if you have that much trouble telling the difference between 10 versus 20 players, i’d suggest getting your eyes checked.

we are posting in a thread about multiboxing. there have been players who have been banned in the past for using multiple accounts to bury comments. I have had it happen where plenty of players have logged on their alt accounts only to response and get called out for it.

lets not make this harder then it is. I get you want to argue, but if you can’t even accept such a basic statement, then you are beyond help.

no. you see, children respond with non-nonsensical replies. like you. that’s why you’re a child.

ah, I see. so if we say anything about multiboxxing, we are throwing a tantrum. nice.

that’s not how it works. no one is gouging on the most readily available goods. thats not how the real world works. i mean, you don’t even need to know anything about economics to know that isn’t how it works.

and all of that literally means nothing. I manage multiple businesses online and handle the analytics. you see, we can all toss out our credentials and act like it means something.

so let me explain to you why it’s the case.

herbing and mining are both the most accessible professions to make gold. they are quite honestly the foundation of the economy in wow. with literally nothing, you can pick up either of those profession, kill nothing, and start making gold.

right now, you can logon to wow and go the AH and check to see what goods have the largest pool of players offering them up. the more players selling a single good, the harder it becomes for any type of gouging to happen. gouging happens in monopolies, inelastic goods/products, or price fixing in cases like a cartel or where there collusion.

So lets take an example… Osmenite Ore. Right now, there are 114,445 available on the AH at 16 different price points. Right off, you can see that there is a massive supply and a literal ton of players selling. The more people selling, the greater the competition and the harder it is to control the pricing as there is almost always someone willing to undercut.

That is what they are trying to argue here. That on a good that has the MOST competition, that they are actually helping prevent gouging by consolidating resources… this is the OPPOSITE of what actually happens. instead, the more you consolidate sells, you reduce competition.

Lets even take that further though. When the oil barrens of the early 20th century made their money, they did so by selling at loss. Because of their means of productions, they could undercut other sellers to the point of unprofitability and drive them out of the market. In a way, that’s what we have here. For a solo player to pull in some income, they have to compete with these massive conglomerates to turn a profit. The multiboxers drive the price down for the raw goods and it destroys the economy for finished goods.

That’s what we have been seeing all expansion. Many raw goods are near worthless now. More and more players are supplementing with buying gold because the means to make gold isn’t what it use to be. while this is a complex topic, one of many issues is how multiboxers exploit how nodes work now, as compared to previous expansions.

that isn’t what i said. but per usual, you lie and ignore other comments you don’t have a sufficient response for.

It’s pretty hilarious how scared you are of responding to comments which are correct.

the best you can do is lie and make emotes.

People need to stay out of war mode if they can’t handle pvp. They already removed pvp servers due to the complaints of pvp on pvp servers, now it’s completely optional no mater where you stay. There is no such thing as pvp griefing.

This thread isn’t about bots, it’s about multi-boxing. Just because you don’t know the insanely large difference between the two doesn’t make you right, not in the least.

you dont gather 40 times from a node dude…even boxing.
Believe it not boxers STILL have to travel to every node individually. They AINT in gold mode LMBO

You control 1 person. The rest are bots controlled off a program.

Not even multiboxers can do that and you’d know that if you had done even the very slightest amount of research.

Right as in you get X resouce per character per node.

This is blatantly incorrect and shows a distinct lack of any knowledge about how multiboxing actually works.

Each client performs a single action in response to a single button pressed by a human being. They do not perform any additional actions on their own.

Oh, could have fooled me.

Anyways, I’m not going to back go and forth with you on this when you’re wrong.

lol

Oh, man… another one. You guys seriously need to figure out how this even works before spouting off this stuff. Nobody can do that. lol

Obv bait…In other words you want to defend multiboxers becuase either

  1. It benefits you or your guild by supply and demand of bulk buying
  2. You try and control the inflation to make a profit.
  3. you just like to troll.

There is a reason you’re protecting multiboxers and it’s like talking to a wall since you’re willing to say whatever or deflect logic to prove someones wrong and protecting your gains.

They are just on follow, nothing controlling them

This is raw gold baby.

well apparently did. not to difficult.

yes, again, not incorrect.

they are obviously taking actions. so it’s more then just follow.

-_-

RP. I used it (my 4 accounts) to control the storyline and keep the momentum in my guild when it was starting out.

The irony…

We see it in here all the time from box haters.

the irony…

uh huh…leave the Freud crap at the door.
Thanks

gonna enjoy watching it happen this time, I must admit.

When the name calling begins…as it has today…yeah…its a tantrum.

ugh

Total garbage lie…the most sought after crap is what gets the most gouging dude…I KNOW…IM A FLIPPER LMBO.

says 30+ years of running successful businesses

sure ya do…

yeah? cool beans. I farm every day. I make tons of gold…boxers or no boxers.
This all sounds like a ‘you’ thing that hasnt a thing to do with boxing.

Probably because they aren’t doing anything wrong :man_shrugging: Prior to becoming a multiboxer I never had any problems from them. I’ve been ganked by multiboxers before but I’ve also been ganked by 1 character, I had no chance in either situation since like I said I don’t pvp. As far as the economy :man_shrugging: haven’t seen anything unusual.
