Multiboxing = Pay to Win

So, you got nothing ok it is cool.

Good for you? Also, it changes frequently so your copies are out of date.

But not everybody plays this way.

I five box but I haven’t picked a single piece of Zinanthid this whole expansion. I made all of my gold in WOD with crafting, Garrisons, and playing the auction house.

I five box because it lets me level more characters more efficiently. I have a five box team on each side I used to gank toxic PvP Bros and people trolling RP events. I use my accounts to DM plots that take players in multiple places at once. I use them to make NPCs for plots.

I suppose that’s valid. Still giving you a bit of an advantage (say you needed specific class/races for something) but a lot less so.

Doesn’t really matter considering boosts are still a thing, but that’s a tanker of worms for another time.

Sorry, no advantage.

Are you still on this?

I’d say boosts are pay-to-win but after you’ve leveled enough characters it does tend to get tedious and boots are real nice.

I got my second account back before guild Banks were thing. I needed a special account just to serve as guild storage for my guild because I was an altoholic.

When they made it possible to transfer characters between accounts I moved one character over and followed another character and leveled that way.

When all of my accounts were full and I got bored in the second half of Mists of Pandaria I got a third account. And then came WOD. And rather than quit I got two more accounts. And now I have five.

None of their accounts has an advantage over your account.

What is even funnier about this crap. When I post saying I need more characters on my account than 50 I always get told to get another account.

Their main does because it’s receiving several account’s-worth of resources. If you can explain to me how that is not an advantage that is being paid for, I will delete my account.

They pay for multiple accounts each account has equal benefits. It is not rocket science.

Please let me know when you can prove one account is greater than another account.

You have to farm a lot every month for Multiboxing to even be worth the time invested, not to mention the either gold or real currency investment to get setup.

But it’s really not a great way to make gold. A single account with all the crafting professions will pull much more in much less time and money spent.

Even better: if you’re confident, Flipping is the best gold making in this game by far.

Am I at an advantage, as a player with one account but multiple characters that not only am I self-sustaining but profit from it greatly?

The thing is anybody can multi box if they want to. It’s a choice.

You can choose to sacrifice other things you might do like go out to a movie or eat out in favor of having an additional account or two.

I personally enjoy challenging play style that involves monitoring and using five characters at once instead of playing just one. I would be terribly bored if I could only play one character at a time. the only solo gameplay that manages to keep me stimulated is Mythic pluses and raids.

I don’t care about people having more than one account, I care about people multiboxing; that is, playing their multiple accounts at the same time.

But outside resource gathering; which we’ve explained is a rather poor way of making gold in comparison to a single account, what does multiboxing bring to the table?

Why can’t you just stay in your own lane?
