Reason, they have so many multiboxes, p.s. theres a streamer on our realm who has 60 accounts being multiboxed. They farm 24/7 on 50+ account being multiboxxed, they can afford to farm hundreds of thousand of mats and lowball undercut so no one else can make a profit on mats, also at a price that its not worth buying from them in the AH either because you won’t make a profit on the craftables either, so they basically ruined the market and they can afford to keep canceling auctions anytime someone else posts to repost their thousands to ensure any buys, the gold goes straight to them since its the newest posted gets the buy first type system.
Meanwhile at blizz, they are putting 5 mill gold mounts with AH to clog up the AH more from these multiboxers and because of how runied the economy is, regular players could never afford this especially when it is announced at the end of the xpac that it will be removed… in shadowlands…
SOLUTION!!!
make multiboxers bannable
instead let it so players can party up with 4 of their other toons, their other toons would be AI like Islands, AI bg brawl, or proving grounds/ legion tower party members for healer spec. This way you can play with your alts, level with them together, quest ect BUT not all of them will be looting, altho it may let you give your loot to them. Also only the one you play as can collect nodes. This way you protect their the fantasy of playing with yourself.
If a full party of 5 is not feasible then at least 1. Can’t find a tank or healer but you have one thats an alt well, AI ur alt as a bodygaurd even for a dungeon, although the AI will never be as good as a player which is the drawback which makes it fair.
You should at least give this a try in a PTR even if it does not make it to live. There is absolutely no harm in adding to a PTR to see what can be done with such an idea and feedback. Blizz also said “you think you want but you don’t” to wow classic and look how wrong they were. Which is why we need to start adding ideas to PTR to get actual results instead of “thinking but not trying” which is why overwatch has a ptr and experimental modes to find out how to improve the game without adding to the actual game.
I don’t really have any strong views on this subject, but I thought it would be funny if only one character could loot a node at a time. Would be funny seeing someone with 60 accounts re-looting the same thing 60 times.
A system with your alts as party members/ai/bodyguard would be awesome, anyone who states otherwise has no clue what they are talking of because I seen counters claiming “that makes wow less social” no it doesn’t because AI would not be as good as real players as seen in islands, real players would always be preferred but what you must know is this day and age IRL ppl are not all friendly, you will not always find someone willing to be friends or tag along or play together, even if blizz forced everything to require everything in content to be a party of other ppl that will not work because of the toxicity of humanity in this day and age. No harm in letting ppl group with themselves if they can’t find anyone else, no harm in having a party of 5, you and your alts, and seeing someone so removing ur alt and adding a real person or letting 2 ppl group and both have a alt AI in the group that would be fun too.
look up ridosaw…… supercomputer and superhuman… you don’t know the actual multiboxers who are altering our economy, way different than someone whose barely learning but there are way to many wth 50-200 accounts multiboxing, is not impossible, some use multiple systems and screens and sync them in order to do this.
I mean, it’s probably justifiable to flag it as spam at this point.
Multiboxing isn’t cheating until Blizzard says it is. They’re never going to say it is, because it makes them money. So this is ultimately a rather pointless thread
