It’s not an argument. It’s a FACT.
Blizzard is cool with multiboxing. Has been and will continue to be. And MB is part of the authentic “Classic” experience. Also a fact.

Each instane of diablo 2 required unique cd-key, so it’s same as wow, more instances = more money.
But, in case of diablo, more bans meant more money too, as bans meant people gonna buy new cd-keys to replace the banned ones.
No different than leveling with a friend who heals your warrior.
It’s been argued to death and Blizz has been totally clear. It’s not botting, not cheating, not an advantage even. It’s been debated since vanilla and upheld since then too.
So you’re welcome to come up with whatever argument, comparison etc. it’s still not against the rules and not at all likely to change.
That was D3, this is WoW.
I think there has been enough meshing of D3 and WoW to ruin retail. Let’s leave well alone.
Multiboxing is 100% cool in Classic.
EDIT: Nsk corrected me… it was D2 not D3. Any mention of those two games in the same sentence is strictly inadvertent since D2 was awesome and D3 is garbage.
Exactly not diferent than leveling with a friend, except you don’t have a friend.
i can afford it im just not a loser
D2 had the multiboxing questin quite recently, and there was a blue post saying that, basically, it’s allowed, but not supported in that game.
And honestly, multiboxing is MUCH more powerful in D2 than it is in WoW (as more characters in the game increase the loot drop rates).
You’re acting like someone said it would be hard to stop multiboxing. Why did you even bother to type that out? We all know they could stop it if they wanted to. And calling the advantage trivial is simply lying. Five characters together literally one shot mobs and never even have to stop to drink. Not to mention they murder other solo players in pvp, dominate pve spots, get tons of gold, and can solo 5 mans.
It’s not nothing, that’s why people pay for it. They pay for the advantage. They pay… to win.
That was diablo 2, wow’s older brother.
So give multiboxing a try if it’s so easy and so much of an advantage.
Something tells me you’ll quickly see why so few people actually do it and even fewer can do it well.
Same as in WoW.
Blizzard does not support multiboxing, they allow it as it doesn’t break the Terms of service but there is no in game mechanism outside of macros to make it work.
It is trivial, because you can literally achieve the same result, no, better results, by spending 5 minutes looking for a group to play with.
So unless you are being strictly antisocial in a mmorpg (lul), it is, indeed a trivial advantage.
You’re going to be one shot by 3 minute mages too. What’s your point? Multiboxers, once you know what you are dealing with, can be dealt with pretty easily. They are very vulnerable. And one you get them down, it’s not easy for them to get back up. You’re picking one specific thing that rarely happens and making it a major issue. You are 100 times more likely to get ganked by a mob of Hordies and you still be nothing you can do about that either since faction imbalances are crazy.
No, they could just ban using those devices together to multibox. Lol, sorry but that is one bad argument.
Do not forget each toon has it’s own repair.
Each toon has to pay it’s own training.
Want me to go on.
LOL yeah, D2. What a fine game that was… D3 is garbage…thanks for catching that one.
Love the only argument people have to justify using scripts, (paying for ) sketch third party software, and paying hundreds of dollars a month for accounts just to grief in PvP is ‘bLiZaRD SaiD iTs OKaY ’
LOLOLOL.
Oh, I misunderstood. I thought that the software was allowing to log in multiple characters on the same account.
I have to agree. While some may not like it, it’s been a part of the game since the beginning. And it’s not like it was new as of World of Warcraft. When I played Dark Age of Camelot there were multiboxers there as well and it likewise did not violate the DAoC Terms of Service. Many MMORPGS have allowed it and continue to do so.
You forgot (in my opinion as someone who has dual boxed before), they both have to individually do gather quests.
