What program? Its a matter of allowing your mouse and keyboard to access all open instances of wow something you can by opening the control panel on your computer. Please do some research before making wild claims. As you can multi bot in ff14 and eso I know this as i do it
Here is the biggest thing about boxer farmers , There not only cleaning out one server instance there doing up to how ever many accounts they have . Stop and look every one is on a different server . So they are not only cleaning every herb on your server they change leader to new server and go to next one and so forth . Tell me that not hacking with in the rules yes there nothing in TOS stopping it but is it RIGHT !!!
They like to insist it’s dependent on a program, because they think it’s easier to sell the idea of banning a program than banning multiple accounts.
I once tried a multiboxing program and found it more trouble, (I’m an oldie,) than it was worth. So when I multibox I’m using follow and alt tabbing, and I guarantee few people watching will able to tell the difference.
I still suspect these threads are organised by a bunch of botters trying to remove the competition.
As a boxer myself can tell you all my toons are the same server. Having different chars on different servers doesn’t affect sharding you can shard swap just as easy and accross all servers would make it horribly insufficient as you cannot consolidate your gold to the 1 account

It had me puzzled.
I only multibox farm on Aman’thul, but I often do questing and leveling on 2 toons on different realms. When I switch over leader, the realm I’m on doesn’t switch unless I log both characters off first. If I want to switch realms it’s easier to join a group on a different realm and switch realm without having to log off.
The guy who made the claim has no idea what he is talking about as it doesn’t work that way at all. He is just another well I heard or read this thing so it must be true person

just because you see them, does not mean people who say they don’t are liars. I’ve been playing 15 years on CC, i’ve maybe seen 3 in all that time. Get over yourself and calling people down just because they haven’t seen as many as you say you do.

I have not seen any muti-boxers in years. I saw a few back when PvP allowed follow, but not for 10 years or more.
I didn’t see many multi boxers until patch 8.3. Now it’s every time a train of boxers , oh well what can you do?
There’s definitely been a surge of them lately. I’ve seen more in the past month than I have in the past few years total.
I don’t really have a problem with them other than the fact that the ones I see never contribute to world bosses or anything. They just fly around looking ridiculous and being not helpful.
