Dont believe you because optimum # is 5. That being said as an x boxer I do see more now than before. Still only couple times a week.

There is a decent amount of multiboxers. I myself am one and am a member of the multibox discord so we can organize being in different shardes and zones as to not compete with each other it currently has 637 members. But if it wasn’t for us the player base would still be paying 200g a for a single zin herb we help flood the market as we can farm faster and more efficiently than the single player can. The community as a whole would prefer to pay 40-50g rather than the 200g its only the people that try to farm for profit with one account that complain and that a way smaller fraction than those who do not

Wow is the only game I have ever played where this is defended. In any other MMO the program they use for this would be considered botting. But in wow people just don’t care.

In my eyes it is botting. Especially since people use third party software or hyper macros to control all at once. Some even just straight up automate the other characters! It is NUTS that this is defended. They admit they flood the market and crash it on purpose and claim to be heroes for it. This is so backwards and dumb. No wonder gold is stupid inflated and nothing sells for a profit anymore. These boxers make it impossible to work anything farmable.

I basically did it with Jamba which is just a glorified /follow.
For combat I literally am swapping back and forth between monitors.
Not easy to do when youre running a druid and a DK, lol…or any time youre running different classes.
Keeping track of what screen is what class and where are your keybinds are…very busy, lol.
I only did that when we needed a fifth character to get into a dungeon call, though. Our little ‘guild’ is just the four of us.
I got to the point where we’d use it to get into the run, then just /follow with the second character I was using…often a mage who could portal us out when we were done if we needed to.
its ‘meh’.
Nothing to write home about.
actually healing with shaman and trying to get a high position on Details while keeping a group alive is far more challenging/rewarding.

I havent actually seen a MBer since last summer or early fall. Sept/Oct maybe.
And even then he was just showing off his mounts in ogrimmar.
I havent seen one farming…and I can be playing upwards of 10 hours a day, doing a lot of farming myself…in more than a year.
Granted, I am not always in current content, so theres that.
So wait. People defend it by saying there are not enough to be a problem yet there are enough that if Blizzard got rid of them they would need to shut down servers? that does not make any sense

I wouldn’t mind seeing nodes go to two drops and quicker spawns, but I haven’t witnessed any multiboxers farming, so don’t think it’s that big of an issue.

they destroyed my Ghost iron ore farming…22g down to 4g or so at this point.
You know what I didnt do? Cry about it.
You know what I DID do? go farm one of 10,000 other things in this game that Im EASILY able to clear upwards of a 100k a day with when the mood strikes me.

since when “flasks” arent valuable?
also all of the other professions are complete dumpster for most of the things maybe useful in very random situations but after that there’s no better profession than herbalism/alchemy for pretty much all your needs… if there’s no changes in shadowlands to the rest of the professions I’m just going to move to herb/alchemy.

They use a program that can run as many characters as they want at the same time. They never need to look at the other characters. How is that not botting?

personally Im making up to 4000g on some of my Mists enchants…lots of the enchants AND gems from classic up thru MoP make me 500g to 2500g.
If you arent making much with current content go do some old content alchemy 
enchants meh, probably that’s a personal story/server economy thing there’s no way I would pay 4k for an enchant.
alchemy is far superior.
