You dont need to be rich to pay for half a dozen wow accounts.
You need an income, yes, but ‘rich’ ? Hardly.
Secondly, youre exaggerating the issue.
Does it matter if you got beat in pvP by one player with 6 accounts instead of 6 players with one account? The end result was the same.
As far as MB farming…well thats a good thing because it keeps players from gouging on the AH.
Think of it like a factory that produces stuff you want to buy instead of some guy with hand tools making one piece a month and charging a years salary for it.
Id much rather have them keep the AH prices down to a level they should be than seeing some stupid herb for 100g+ each that we all know takes no time at all to farm.
on the PvP point again, I dont use MBing for that, and if blizzard restricts it I dont think Id personally cry about it, but how do you propose they fix it?
what…restrict one connection to the game from an IP address?
And if it happens that multiple players are at that address all playing individually like me and my wife do?
How do you propose that they weed out who is MBing and who just has a number of WoW players in their dorm room?
this ‘problem’ isnt as big or as bad as some of you are making it…and thats why blizzard isnt doing much about it.

MB don’t put a dent in the economy one way or another. Unless someone is doing something I’ve not seen in my decade of multiboxing this game like herbing with 100s of characters.
The sharding prevents people from seeing the true scale of gatherers out there. There are legit thousands of regular players, probably some botters mixed in that are farming right alongside you. But because they are on separate instances you probably won’t see them. This creates a false sense of reality about the economy and multiboxing in general.

What? No, I was making a joke. There was a debate where Bernie attacked Bloomberg for being rich and if you read the OP that’s pretty much the only problem he has with multiboxers.

Herbs are on a forced spawn. Someone else despawning should have an equal and oppositive reaction (i.e. popping another flower for you). If you see anyone farming “clockwise” in a zone, run “counter-clockwise”. You may just see MORE nodes than if you are on the same path as the multiboxer/farmers. A 10 box-multiboxer tapping nodes basically guarantees a forced herb spawn somewhere in the zone.

That’s exactly what I think, honestly multiboxers doing raid/dgs/bgs I do not really care, the ones I care the most about are the multiboxers that gather insanes amounts of stacks of anything in the game when you have difficulties getting one stack.
For the Zin’athide for exemple, a normal form of a stack is what, 30 minutes ? If not too lucky it’s probably that. If lucky its like 15-20 minutes.
For those multiboxers it takes 4 plants and they already got a stack when they are 10, 4 plants for the normal players would be on average 16-24 herbs. That’s not even close of the 160-240 herbs multiboxers make.
If I take the new price of those Zin’athide on my server, it’s 70g/each ( yes it’s a lot compared to this morning ), that means 1120g for 16 herbs up to 1680g for 24 herbs, and that’s basically like 3 minutes into farming if not lucky, so let’s say you got 1680g out of 3 minutes of farming. Those multiboxers get 16 800g in that same 3 minutes !! That’s insane !
Right now tokens cost what… 143k I think ? So let’s devide that by 16.8k, that’s 8.9 times 16.8k.
So 8.9 times 3 minutes would be around 26.8 minutes for one token, gg you got a token for one of your accounts in 27 minutes, now just do that again for 5 hours and you’ll pay for everyone of your 10 accounts, and finaly every gold you’ll make in the next month is all yours. farm for an other hour and you’ll get like 300k worth of Zin.
Do that for a whole 12 hours and you got 3.6 million gold lol, im probably exagerating the price a little too much 'cause 70g/Zin is insane but you got the point.
Anyway you guys are all crazy lol my topic got suspended for a couple of hours because some weirdo flaged it, toxic.

Blizzard won’t do anything about it but I still don’t like it. No different to botting to me. I don’t run the game and I don’t have control over people’s lives so that’s something I have to live with. You do as well OP.
