Wow same thing happened to me doing an incursion in Voldun. I was in war mode obviously looking for a fight and 12 individual hordies grouped up swarmed in and blew the hack out of me in about 3 seconds. It’s called WAR MODE for a reason. It doesn’t matter if it’s one player with 12 toons or 12 players each with one toon, you chose to be in warmode, its a fair kill.

You obviously can’t count it was 12 (or so) on 1.

Simple answer to all of this. Stop supporting the use of keycloning software. Ban players for its use. Play as many characters as you want. But to make them do anything you must actively be in that characters window. It should at the very least be challenging to get such an advantage over other players.

So ban anyone that uses a wireless keyboard. Seems legit.

Wireless keyboard and software that clones key presses across multiple instances of the game are 2 very different things.

hahahahaha

An alliance complaining about griefing in Nazjatar???

Ive seen it all

Maybe you guys can live when you stop bringing 900 people to battle of nazjatar and completely lagging the zone.

Which is griefing, and zone disruption.

If I have 5 TVs linked to a single remote, and I press the power button, all five TVs are powered on. Has the remote broadcast a signal to all five TVs, or has the signal been replicated?

In what way?

You said ban anyone that uses “key cloning software.” Well… that’s pretty much how a wireless keyboard and mouse works.

Also, I’m not sure how you can ban someone for using software that doesn’t even change the game files. I’ll have to check my husband’s computer to make sure I’m right but ISBoxer (for example) isn’t an addon you put in your folder. I believe all the “key cloning” is done client side.

I think this is an excellent example of what’s going on. He’s not doing any thing to the TVs… he’s just sending a signal that says “do this.”

And the TV isn’t turning on by itself.

No it dose not. A wireless keyboard works exactly the same as a wired. Only difference is how the computer receives that signal. One by wire the other threw RF or Bluetooth. And if Blizzard can detect bots they can do the same for the third party software boxers ues.

Third party software is an extremely broad term. Windows and DirectX is third party software so I guess we should ban anyone that uses that too?

Strawman all you want. I have given my thoughts on this. I don’t care if you like it or not. And am not going to spend all day arguing it. Its simple. You want this kind of advantage over other players you should have to work for it. And I don’t mean by paying for it ether threw gold or cash.

It is rather strange to see a person talking to their alt and liking his own posts.

You’re the one that doesn’t know how computers work :woman_shrugging: I mean, I’m not an expert by any means but gd this is basic stuff here.

Right back at you and Blizzard doesn’t care that you don’t like it either.

Lol there are so many ways you can get an advantage over people with this and none of it has to do with multiboxing.

Exactly what did I say that goes against how a computer works? Ill bite on this one.

You don’t seem to understand the fundamental differences between broadcasting a signal and duplicating a signal, for starters.

Enlighten me.
