Multiboxing griefing

Or they use stolen credit cards, which costs Blizz even more money to deal with.

Sure ya dont

uh huh…that tin foil hat working into the cranium, is it?

No. I said.

Banning players like me who don’t farm or PvP because of bad actors is pretty crappy.

yeah…the incentive is theres NO REASON to ban them in the first place…next question.

Okie dokie.

At least you can post passive aggressive gifs I guess.

Instead of being passive-aggressive and salty about something, just accuse me of whatever it is so I can figure out what the hell you’re on about.

I’m sorry if this is too complicated for you.

I disagree, but the fact is Blizzard won’t do it.

Sure you can. You just have to have some situational awareness and see them coming.

If people really cared about making Zin’anthid more accessible, we would have many threads complaining about it instead of all these nonsense threads using multiboxers as a scapegoat. Because that proves you’re really just trying to get rid of competition instead of fixing the root problem.

but… according to you, blizzard are making money from them… so surely they’d be better off to just leave all of the accounts active?

if the concern was money, blizzard would tell the owners of compromised accounts that they’re out of luck because they should have protected their account.

uh huh.
The ‘sticks and stones’ generation is clearly dead, lol

You’re right, they are two separate issues. One of which was put under a spotlight because of the Zin’anthid issue. Hey welcome to the conversation!

No, because as you previously stated, they lose more money on the customer service cost as well as the bad PR.

uh…already did ?
You swapped alts. A mod can verify if they choose to.

Because theres no reason to. Pretty obvious reasoning.
‘muh dont like it’ really isnt a valid reason, believe it or not.

how would there be any cost to blizzard, if they stopped restoring compromised accounts?

…and how would they get bad PR for expecting people to be responsible?

Exactly. At best multiboxing is semi automatic automation. No different than using robots to replicate your movements across multiple games automatically. Its a shame Blizzard has not put their foot down on this atrocity yet.

their game…their rules. Get used to not having every detail of everything in life like you want it.
They want a PLAYER controlling the characters.
One player or ten…it has no bearing on your game in the least.

uh… it’s a part of the game.
always has been.

this drama is so over the top…

i might actually even consider having a go at boxing, just to annoy some of these self-righteous folk who think they should get to dictate other peoples chosen play-style.

…next thing you know, people will be complaining about people engaging in RP on RP realms.

Haha, speaking of tin-foil hats.

The reasons have been hashed over and over for 15 years. We both have our opinions on it, and I know nothing I say will change your mind, given your obvious salty tone. The fact is Blizzard has a monetary incentive to not get rid of it, so it won’t happen.

Cancel culture.

There is only one issue. Zin’anthid being poorly implemented.

Says the person who is so far out of the loop that they’re in orbit.

This is really what it boils down to.

I think there is a control component as well. I think people want to control how other people play the game. It’s a literal “stop liking what I don’t like.”
