That doesn’t change the fact that blizzard won’t tell you exactly why you got banned.
Also - I don’t multi-box lol

They don’t, that’s why they just post “zone disruption” followed by the usual automated message that the appeal is denied.
Exactly. Chances are he was killing all the quest specific mobs making it impossible for anyone to complete it.
A group doing the same thing can also be reported.
Why would he kill quest mobs as herb boxer lol, dude literally told me all that he did was farming.
Because cheaters never lie, and they certainly never downplay the severity of their misdeeds.
No.
Now take your 15 pyroblast and a water for the run.
“I know better than Blizzard what is against the ToS my daddy owns Blizzard and he said.”
Funniest story:
And? - My point was to counter the specific argument, not the entire thread.
I have no real interest in scrolling through 1130 posts just to see wheter you’ve understood this side of the coin or not.
If so was the case; Why not just move on and ignore my correction?
Have a lovely week, and hope some real issues can be discussed better in the future with a more adult approach than “Haha silly / stinky”.
i bet if you took away the ability for people who multibox to use the ah bmah or trade at all all the boting problems and farming problems would end and no one would care about multiboxers since killing them in pvp is easy
People care about twice a year and then the threads will die down for six months, like they have since I was in my mid-20’s a decade and a half ago.
Blizzards justification boils down to they like the money.
Glorified botting at best in practice though.
Could you let us know where you got that number? Thanks.
They didn’t say that at all. They said they are allowed if not run by a program, and instead controlled by a human clicking an action.
By using the word support, it means they won’t help you with it. If was against the rules, they would say “against the rules.”
Helping = support.
Rules = Rules.
This is common legalese. Look up the definition of “support.” Support is not equal to a law or rule, you could misconstrue it to mean they don’t agree with, but that is a fallacy because they said it isn’t against the rules.
+1, Multiboxing destroys the Trade Goods economy.
Blizzard really needs to hire an economist as well to get inflation under control
Blizzard’s justification is that it’s an interesting way to play the game. Has nothing to do with money. Especially when Activision-Blizzard pulls in billions a year. WoW is not their biggest source of money anymore.
It’s not even close to botting. Every character is directly controlled by the player. Each character performs a single action in response to a single button that is pressed by the player.
Botting destroys the economy. Especially with how slow they can be in banning bots. Multiboxers can’t play 24/7 or do the exact same task for months on end.
Pro tip: right-click on a botter’s character portrait and select “report.” You’ll get a nice mail from Blizzard telling you thanks for reporting and your actions helped them stop a cheater. This of course only works if they’re botting.
Reporting in-game will get you one trillion times further on your anti-botting crusade than posting in general forums, which botters do not read and wouldn’t care about if they did read.
I’ve been gone for a few months. I was afraid things would change. I’m glad to see this old dead horse is still getting beat.
Good.
Because I’m not done until glorified botters are gone from the game.
Hey hey hey relax now… we’re complaining about the SL Delays, PTR bugs and Covenants.
For once Multiboxer caught a break… leave us alone. Yesterday I reported 5 bots with my multiboxing team in Isle of Thunder. I know they were bots because of how they moved.
Anyways, bouuhh SL Delays! go back to complaining about other things, we’ll still be here in shadowlands.
Just read this post and fully agree. I remember my server being crashed numerous times thanks to a certain multiboxer on Darkspear that would sit in towns and cities with his full raid of toons causing so much lag it was impossible to play on the same server as him… and he wasn’t banned, don’t know if he ever got banned, but I do know Blizzard let him roam around causing trouble constantly… >.<
