Multiboxing and Herbalism

How many threads on this forum can be deemed as constructive.

Like really.

Most are for venting. Just let them vent.

This thread is causing me unrest. I fear for my multiboxer life everyday on the forum.

All this talk of herbing makes me want to go herbing. Guys, is this a good way to make money in wow?

When they’re literally duplicate… exact same thing. Not a different person with a similar view on a similar subject.

Explained above how that does not constitute. And for creating threads with the purpose of causing unrest, that doesn’t qualify either. Having an opinion that you do not like and getting triggered by it does not mean the OP intended to trigger you.

And non-constructive means not to have a purpose. The obvious purpose of this thread is to express discontent for multiboxing.

If you need a quick buck, maybe but you have to wait for the AH sale. It’s easier to just go clear old expansion raids for fast cash.

When they’re literal duplicates, thats when it qualifies. However, the person stated that it constitutes spam, which it doesn’t.

It is not just literally…I can tell you haven’t been here long on the forums, Forums.

Right now? Actually yes. I didn’t encounter much mboxers these days, and herb prices are moving up.

If you clear Hellfire Citadel 3 times (normal heroic and mythic) you get abt 9k after vendoring everything, and you also get a chance at mount and pet. Took me abt 70mins.

That makes absolutely no sense.

However, I hope I’ve raised our awareness on how the rules work. Have a wonderful afternoon!

Whether is actually a good way to make gold now is debatable though.

Thanks, for pointing out that this topic was spam.

Have a nice day!

:man_shrugging: I still say lock all duplicate threads and have stickied mega threads

It states nowhere that it has to be literally the same. It’s yet a new thread for the same topic that is created what seems like twice a day and amounts to nothing when it’s only met with pro boxer that only have to say “Well Blizz allows it so shove it” to justify their “playstyle”.

Rules can be interpreted differently

I like seeing a fresh new multiboxing thread every few days that says the same thing as all the others, with all the same people in them saying the same things they’ve said in the last 100 multiboxing threads lol. Like some people come into these threads and they just say their one liner and that’s it “Ban multi-boxing” The priest Rhy will come and post a link to Blizz’s rules on cheating and say they violate their own ToS, it’s ridiculous but :man_shrugging: it’s what I love about you guys.
We really all should be banned for spam

Creating threads about existing topics. It doesn’t say it has to be a word for word duplication.

I know… New thread: Ban multiboxers because I can’t get bucket loads of herbs to sell at high prices!

Oh snap. That’s some multiboxing-ception right there.

Now that, I can agree to. My only pet peeve with mega threads is that they go on F O R E V E R. And there is so much spam/trolling that you have to dig through in order to get to the meat/potatoes.

I’ve moderated forums for over 20 years. Forum rules are old hat to me.

Funny side story, I went back/forth with a Blue once in the CS forum about a forum rule someone was trying to discuss. The poster was infracted for trolling and trying to understand why. The blue tried to lump his comment as trying to cause unrest. When he explained how he wasn’t, the blue then changed his stance to “picking a fight” and the person showed how the other person was the one coming after him, not the other way around. Then the blue switched it to “well, it was non-constructive” and I explained that we need to be fair, “non-constructive” constitutes 90% of all comments on this forum.

It can but if someone, for example, does not like multiboxing but has a different way of viewing it, it’s not duplicate.

This isn’t a new view on multiboxing though. There have been many threads crying about multiboxing and herbalism.
