There’s tons of threads about this but when I use the group finder to do a world quest and two people, not sure if they were multiboxers or just bots, join specifically to realm hop and don’t even bother coming to the boss fight, it’s a problem.
And yes, I’m aware of all the other problems like flooding the AH etc but this is just another problem with it.

That’s not a multibox problem at all, it’s 2 people… very few people only multibox 2 accounts.
Your problem is with realm hopping, we do it solo people all the time. Hell, I’ve done it multiple times trying to find fish tacos in naz’jatar.

Yeah realm hopping is a problem I’ve got, but at least one of these guys was very clearly a bot. The other? Could’ve been a boxer. Have one box in one realm, one in another.
Regardless, even if I’m wrong, which I’m willing to admit, the fact that I sometimes can’t tell if a player is a boxer or a bot or a regular person is pretty telling that there’s an issue.
Yesterday, I found a group of multiboxing druids in Uldum getting ready to fight the assault boss. 2 shot out of the sky to their death as the rest sat several hundred yards above in fear 
You don’t need to tell, report them, blizzard will look into if they’re botting or boxing.
Botting, they’ll get banned in the next wave
Boxing, they’ll go about their merry way

Yeah, that’s the thing. Boxing needs to be a bannable offense. It’s a problem.
You can argue that all you want, blizzard hasn’t agreed with that stance for the last 16 years and I don’t see it changing

I don’t think botting is a problem.
Botting tends to get shut down pretty fast if it gets to the point its negatively impacting the game on a mass scale.
Like Honor Buddy back in the day, where there were extreme cases like entire BGs of Bots fighting each other.

For how many multiboxxer threads there are, you’d think it’s some serious problem and multiboxers are everywhere in WoW ruining everything… but they’re not.
