I am considering starting a small multibox setup with 10 accounts and am also going to switch finally from my Asus G75 gaming laptop to a tower and am really overwhelmed with all the choices and reviews. I see a lot of people say wait till xmas, maybe better gear is available but I’m currently looking at around the $2500 price range and wondered what you would buy? Rog Strix or what?
I’m in the process of putting a Ryzen 7 build together. Rog Strix 570-E looks like a pretty solid board from what I can tell.
I’m planning on going with a 1TB m.2 for my main drive. Still not sure what I’m going to use as a secondary drive yet.

Sounds good! I’m no computer builder so I’m looking for something of the shelf, I might have to bite the bullet and go down town and have a shop around and see what’s available

Gives you a good idea of what price you’ll end up paying, and if things are compatible.
I suggest doing research on everything before final selection, of course, but it’s a pretty good place to start.

I’d wait until I could get a desktop with a rtx 3080. I’ve ran 7 accounts on my desktop that has a gtx 1070. I end up using up all the vram I want to say it was 10GB of vram used with some shared gpu memory used.
Although it got though the deathnight starter zone no problems until I got to stormwind then windows started to lag and I had a couple WoW’s crash.
Most of the time I do 2 though 5 WoW’s at the same time on one pc and it works pretty good with my current.
I’ve found multiboxing in WoW pretty fun and challenging to setup but its a cooling feeling do it. I wish you luck and fun on your multiboxing journey.
