Most would probably say multiboxers, because that’s their bias. In this case, the liars (the anti-boxing mob) chose to use their alts - it doesn’t have to be separate accounts.
Yep. For every one multiboxer that multiboxes responsibly (like Rekkles from WTBGold on YouTube – at least he thinks about “…am I screwing over other people by doing this?”), you have 99 more that will abuse it to the fullest extent possible – locking down a zone for mass farming, kicking the 5th player out of a random dungeon group, hoovering up all the herbs in a zone, “winning” world PvP fights by “themselves”…
Yeah. Check the likes on your post. Both of them are me, and I only have one account. <_<
There used to be an addon for the old forums (called Cogshanks, I think?) that would sniff out people using their own alts to sockpuppet their opinions, but with the forum redesign, that’s no longer possible.
Ever considered trying to get the item from a different server? I remember helping a friend get a mog item they really wanted from the AH, but it was going for like 1 million gold on his server. I checked The Undermine Journal and found it on a random server for like 60k, so I made a character there, converted some b.net balance to a WoW token, sold it for gold, and yoinked the item for him. (He did have to level a character up on that server to actually wear it, but hitting level 18 or so isn’t that big a deal.)
EDIT: Updated the gold values. It happened quite a long time ago and my memory was foggy. <_<
I know but you have seen some of the mind-boggling drivel that appears from time to time so I figured to be generous and give a point for at least making an attempt to be understood.
You do know the basic game is free and game time/expansions can be bought with gold ingame? You sound jealous of those with more discretionary cash than you.
