Multi-sided Strike

I don’t think there has ever been a mechanic so frustrating. I am hard of sight and these spirits are so faint. If I’m floating above the plants in the middle of the room I am pretty much screwed because I can’t differentiate the background from the foreground. Perfectly aiming 180 spins with mouse turns is so risky, too.

This raid has quite a few questionable mechanics.

There is a weakaura that gives you a line to help you see the direction you’re facing so you should never be barely off.

As far as the faintness, I agree with that. I usually go off the flashing lights instead of the color order.

Guessing you have not made it to heroic mekkatorque yet lol.

This raid makes me not want to raid anymore. All the little gimmicks/minigames are NOT an improvement.

Plus, the reeeeally long intro phases that are mind numbingly boring/simple before you get to a phase that actually requires learning made Heroic progression super, super tedious.

Not. A. Fan.

No idea why it used that character to post.

Or that one. What is going on?

Yeah, this. I don’t recall the name of that weak aura, but it really helped me with this mechanic.

Also, while the position of the spirits is random, apparently the color order is not. I don’t recall it, but the same colors strike in the same order. Perhaps memorizing this would help.

My post is about Mythic Jadefire so it makes sense to assume I’ve done heroic Mekkatorque - I’ve done 9/9h anyway. Also, while the Mekkatorque bots are a bit unfair to colorblind people there are easy workarounds and that mechanic isn’t deadly anyway.

PepeLaugh Benedot is this you?

Literally what are you talking about mate.

The bots aren’t a deadly mechanic? That’s adorable.

I have permanent nerve damage in my eyes and can do it fine. Just focus on the flashes and colors. I struggled a tad at first but it’s possible to get over it.

Yeah this is the best way to teach the mechanic to others.

The order is blue green red green blue. Always. It becomes much easier to know which monk is active next when you remember the order.
