I think it would be a nice feature maybe in the future if we were able to form a group from our warband similar to the play style of Might and Magic. I am sure all you purists are scoffing at the suggestion. Something to think about
I could see a version of Delves that allowed you to bring up to 5 characters from your warband, and swap between which are automated and which you’re piloting.

I don’t know much about delves and warbands since that was after my time, but if the game already lets you do content with ai party members then having them populated from your warband would be really cool. It would let you build out a squad and have some control over how you tackle the content.
Also FYI, this sounds like a retail thing and this is the forum typically associated with Classic Era, the Vanilla version of the game. If that’s the audience you’re targeting, no worries, but if you’re looking for a more retail oriented discussion you might try here…

I think it’s fair to say that retail has been moving away from this for quite some time now. I watched some Bellular video a month or so back showing that you can even do old raids in story mode with AI players.
You still need to interact with people on some level, but not nearly as much as you would in Classic Era. Which is fine… it’s just a different game for a different audience.
Actually even then, I see a lot of folks multiboxing in Era so they can do dungeons on their own haha.

Like in retail? When you do the ai dungeons they are from your warband? Might be a neat way to level characters if they allowed that. But doesn’t sound great in classic.
No thanks. I would very much like my characters to remain individual entites in Classic, not small wheels in a warband … as far as I understod the concept, I don’t play Retail and have not since BfA.
You login and the blizz approved AI plays the game for you while you do other things!
Well I won’t ever pay for others (or AI) to play for me, it would be as fun as watching YouTubes of others playing - which I do not do either. When I have time for WoW, I prefer to play!
You can be my AI companion any day…

buy another account or as many as you want and split screen or multi monitor and mouse between them.
