Of course they care. However, different Blues have different jobs and different sections of the forums are for different things.
This particular forum is an Information Desk.
-How to navigate the ticket system
-Finding Support articles
-Answering policy questions (like yours!)
-Providing direction on where/how to properly give feedback
A common misconception is that this specific forum is a place to provide feedback or have a community discussion. It is not. There are no Developers on the CS forum and the Forum Support Agents donāt pass on anything discussed here.
Directing people to the proper place to get their feedback seen is not suppressing discussion. It is the opposite - it is making sure it gets seen. The Community Managers who collect feedback and read those discussions are NOT in the Support pages. They are in GD and the other subject related forums.
Your policy question was exactly what this CS forum is here to answer! Discussion on the merits of multiboxing and whether or not it should exist goes on General Discussion. Suggestions people want to make to the Devs go to the in-game tool or the General Discussion forum.
So, to boil it down. Ask the question here then go talk about the philosophical stuff on GD ![ ](https://d38bqls1q93fod.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/slight_smile.png?v=9)

This thread was explicitly set up to provide myself with information about the proper use of MULTIBOXING.
Please do no detract from the authenticity of this post by now speaking on if this will reach the DEV team.
Let it be clear this was specifically for like minded individuals that want to uphold the integrity of the game while using practices such as multiboxing appropriately.
Please refrain for anything else.
As I purely want this to be informational.
Add in on how to properly set a box up as a community.
What to do and not to do.
Is it that hard? Please and thank you.
That would be better suited for General.
Itās not a topic for CS. Here we discuss policy ,account and in game issues.

Yes. Your question was exactly what this forum is for. YOU did not derail the thread. The rest of the discussion after your questions were answered was what derailed it. That is the part that does not belong.
The rest of these posts were not a complaint about your thread, but about what others decided to do with your thread by derailing it.

I would say it is par for the course and as long as we are able to get back on course it should be no more than a little correction.
Plus I would like that others not refer to admins as it is explicitly forbidden by forum rules.
Donāt just cherry pick who the offenders are.
Have a wonderful day -
later I will be posting. A how to! A correct way to set up one of these multibox as Iāve researched and spoke with a few streamers who are doing it as well.
Once again have a pleasant day.
As long as you post it in General. How to posts donāt belong in CS. Itāll be moved or locked by Blues.

What does that have to do with anything? Your thread title doesnāt have Blizzard or Blue in it, so that rule you seem to be hung up on doesnāt really apply.

sigh
Please donāt intentionally misinterpret the rules. What they donāt like is when people DEMAND a blue answer them.
Your how to thread does belong in General Discussion, or one of the other game related sub forums. That is good advice. This is not a forum for you to post guides in.

The forums here are specifically to discuss the game and related topics. Any topics not related to World of Warcraft, Battle.net, or Blizzard Entertainment are subject to deletion.
I do not see how Iāve overstepped any bounds and kept it with in the frame of CoC.
The forums means all of the various sub forums. The index is here https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/
Each of those sub-forums has a purpose. You should not just discuss whatever you want on any of them. That is what people were trying to educate you about.
THIS particular forum is an Information Desk - a Support function. We answer questions here. Discussions go on the sub forum most related to the subject matter, or GD if it does not fit anywhere else.
Nobody is trying to pick on you - just help you avoid frustration by having your threads in the proper sub forums to achieve your goals.

Going to go ahead and locked this topic to avoid needing to prune more posts that were derailing from the subject.
As Mirasol indicated in the first reply to this topic, multiboxing is allowed but not supported. This means that Blizzard Support cannot suggest software, or help troubleshoot problems you may encounter.
The subject of whether or not multiboxing should be permitted doesnāt really have a place here. It is permitted.
Any discussion, suggestions, or feedback on that subject should take place in the General Discussion forum (or perhaps one of the PVP forums if the topic is specific to multiboxing as it pertains to in-game combat with others).
