People who use this argument don’t seem to realize that an individual paying for 5 accounts is more powerful than someone only paying for one account.
And then they frequently use the, “you have no friends” insult as if it’s even accurate.
And I don’t care in the slightest if some people have a lot of disposable income, it’s disgusting to suggest it’s nothing - to many who can’t afford that.
I didn’t claim Blizzard said it in reference to multiboxxing. I simply mentioned it because Blizzard likes to use that term for gameplay they don’t like - regardless of what it is.
WoW’s Code of Conduct directly says under “Cheating” the following phrases
“Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game [is cheating]”
“…engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating”
“…anything else that may degrade the gaming experience for other players will receive harsh penalties”
Okay, 1) Most multiboxers use third-party programs to clone their keystrokes across all acounts
2) How is this not an unfair advantage?
3) Is being unable to defend yourself because the entire team is nothing but multiboxers making the experience more fun for the other team, or in fact degrading the experience?
WoW’s Code of Conduct indirectly prohibits multiboxing unless the person doing the multiboxing doesn’t use third-party programs, have an unfair advantage, and make the game less fun for other players. This is impossible
Okay then, they have 1 of 3 hurdles down. Now if they can use their unfair broken advantage in a way that isn’t unfair and makes the game fun, then they can stay. Before hell freezes over, they shouldn’t be a part of WoW
$24 per hour is a lot more than in the US, and again - you don’t know peoples’ circumstances, and $150 is a lot to a lot of people. Hence why I said it’s disgusting that you’re so ignorant and don’t care at all about the financial situations of other people.
I’d say a project car is a lot more expensive than multiboxing in WoW, but nowhere did I say it was expensive. I said that the cost was worth it to that multiboxer.
Most multiboxers are in sets of 5 and gold farm all the time. Couldn’t they just buy WoW tokens for game time on all accounts and still be making a huge profit by having 5 accounts?
