Multi boxing is fine eh?

People who use this argument don’t seem to realize that an individual paying for 5 accounts is more powerful than someone only paying for one account.

And then they frequently use the, “you have no friends” insult as if it’s even accurate.

And I don’t care in the slightest if some people have a lot of disposable income, it’s disgusting to suggest it’s nothing - to many who can’t afford that.

I didn’t claim Blizzard said it in reference to multiboxxing. I simply mentioned it because Blizzard likes to use that term for gameplay they don’t like - regardless of what it is.

I know making stuff up again!

You know owning a BMW is nothing for some people also.

In what way am I hiding behind others? Are you saying only the reasonably wealthy with few external expenses should be allowed to play?

Why does this matter?

fixed that for you.

this isnt going away, in fact the push to remove boxxing is growing. its just a matter of time now.

I’m not making anything up. Their logic for the AoE cap is, “degenerate gameplay” - so I used it here, since I find multiboxing degenerate.

And? Are you saying these people should be the only ones allowed to drive a nice car?

I don’t really care about your opinion, only Blizzards!

Link a source to Blizzards AoE cap is to combat “degenerate gameplay”.

Making stuff up again!

See its points like this that I question your ability to actually think.

I am from Australia mate. We have a minimum wage of 24 dollars an hour for casual employees. A standard rental property costs 300-400 dollars a week.

I know Americans dont get that much in dollar value.

but I definitely do pay fifteen dollars for my sub
and 150 dollars is NOT alot of money.

WoW’s Code of Conduct directly says under “Cheating” the following phrases

“Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game [is cheating]”

“…engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating”

“…anything else that may degrade the gaming experience for other players will receive harsh penalties”

Okay, 1) Most multiboxers use third-party programs to clone their keystrokes across all acounts
2) How is this not an unfair advantage?
3) Is being unable to defend yourself because the entire team is nothing but multiboxers making the experience more fun for the other team, or in fact degrading the experience?

WoW’s Code of Conduct indirectly prohibits multiboxing unless the person doing the multiboxing doesn’t use third-party programs, have an unfair advantage, and make the game less fun for other players. This is impossible

Wrong, A key is pressed and it goes to all windows. No cloning is done this is accomplished with a standard WIndows API.

The guy recording the video not only won ashran but didn’t even multibox. He watched his team do everything for him. What a cheater

It was an Ion quote. I really don’t care to dig it up.

Okay then, they have 1 of 3 hurdles down. Now if they can use their unfair broken advantage in a way that isn’t unfair and makes the game fun, then they can stay. Before hell freezes over, they shouldn’t be a part of WoW

You have no idea what an expensive hobby is.

$24 per hour is a lot more than in the US, and again - you don’t know peoples’ circumstances, and $150 is a lot to a lot of people. Hence why I said it’s disgusting that you’re so ignorant and don’t care at all about the financial situations of other people.

I’d say a project car is a lot more expensive than multiboxing in WoW, but nowhere did I say it was expensive. I said that the cost was worth it to that multiboxer.

Not sure why multiboxers keep making excuses.

Multi-boxing has been a thing for the entire history of wow. I dont think they are going anywhere anytime soon.

Perhaps hell is going to get a little chilly.

Most multiboxers are in sets of 5 and gold farm all the time. Couldn’t they just buy WoW tokens for game time on all accounts and still be making a huge profit by having 5 accounts?

It is fair every account is equal.

Aye, and thats why the reference ‘little drummer boy’ and ‘social status’ are great examples of your lack of ability to form a coherent argument.

You are failing to actually take in the greater context and only apply a very narrow point of view on your chosen subject.

You’ve been saying throughout this thread that it’s an unfair advantage that a multiboxer can pay for multiple accounts. You can, too.

You have an unfair advantage over people who have no computer or no electricity.
