Multi boxers create a negative rmt feedback loop

ROFL what? We’re going to apply ethics to a game where my intro quest is to kill my best friend or has a system that rewards me for killing other people’s characters?

I will give you points for not going with the classic herp-derp argument that MB are botting.

I don’t find anything wrong with multiboxing and my nickname is Mr. Ethical.

Because an MMO doesn’t mean you have to play with other people? It just means that there are multiple people sharing a space.

Anti social means sociopath?

Anti-social Personality Disorder is a cluster B Disorder in the DSM-V. It’s a serious behavioral health condition known by layman’s terms as a sociopath.

No one has a behavioral health disorder for leveling alone.

i don’t give a crap if you had to kill your best friend in the story or whatever,

Just talking about this from a game-play perspective only.

Fun fact: the original box for WoW says “play alone or with friends.” I’m pretty sure that was marketed towards players of EQ that had to play with other people to get any where.

But… Why though???

It’s not spam. It’s more players coming to the forums with the same concerns that we who already inhabit the forums have. They just want it to be spam so they can falsely flag it like they do with anyone who stands toe to toe with them.

Because…reasons that don’t need to be explained to you.

Huh I was talking about a game-play perspective too. I sure as hell wasn’t talking about killing other people IRL.

Remember to turn on logging on PvP. That is proof from multiboxer abusing it. Any multiboxing related PvP that instagibs you is immediately considered under Blizzard’s Cheating category.

She’s probably thinking of ‘anti-social personality disorder’ rather than the dictionary defined ‘anti-social’. Common mistake.

says the troll.

it’s exactly what happens. I had a bunch of posts restored a few weeks ago after they were mass flagged by people who have admitted they multibox.

What does this mean?

The game quests are not related to the ethics of boxing.

Boxing is cheating, and cheating is unethical.

It would all depend on the person asked.

I don’t play with other people because of two main reasons

  • I like to see how far I can go on my own steam
  • I like to enjoy my time. Instead of sifting through the toxic community, I can spend more time having fun.

For the most part, it seems like the anti-multiboxing crowd are the ones that are trying to shut down other peoples’ opinions. Calling people fascists and what not is not really conducive to a healthy discussion.

You quoted the DK intro quest.

I’m talking about ethics when a multiboxer has control over vast resources or gold or whatever because he’s pressing 1 click and gets 5 herbs for it, whereas other players get one. The multiboxer is playing “just as hard” and yet gets 5x the payoff. Because of his automated button pressing mods or whatever.

I’m saying that single players have to compete for gold against multiboxer, hell we saw hundreds of them when the Brutosaur was announced to be leaving.

If you can’t find out whats unethical about this, I really cannot help you lol.

Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.
