Multi-box bot farmers - Myzrael

Blizzard, just chatting in general chat in the zone brings forward a slew of players that have recognized it and reported it, yet they’re there day after day, always farming elite dragonkin.
3 female night elf hunters with wolf pets, 2 following the leader.
Another player has tracked their movements and found that they will log out together and log in together on 3 other hunters on the other side of the zone to farm both areas.
They each have a special character in their name and will sometimes respond but oddly, like they’re trying to appear as though they’re not a bot.

Someone said that if you whisper them, they logout after a few minutes, and sure enough they did. They’ll probably be back. Names start with a special U character.

Those aren’t bots.

They are probably scared that you don’t understand what multiboxing is and are scared you’re going to report them for botting.

The same mobs day after day after day? The same approach vector to those mobs?

Naw I’m just playing devil’s advocate. They’re probably botting and controlling your server’s economy. Making millions in real money while everyone is quarantined. Best to report and let blizz ignore it.

They’ve been reported for 3-4 months straight by players.

and blizz has ignored it or they are not botting? Which one do you think it is? Cuz they told us not long ago they banned some folks. Wonder how Warden missed this guy? They sure did get a lot of peeps in WoD when they had to show the courts damages caused by that bot maker they sued.
Wonder why they stopped banning bots? Oh that’s right. They banned so many it affected subs and they aren’t suing anyone to recover the damages. That is why botting is so wide spread. It’s easy to get away with when blizz just ignores it now and there are no real consequences for it any longer.

one of the 3 hunters has Grey Pants on, I shet you not. Also every piece of gear they have is BoE except the Luffa trinket which is what each one only has.

That’s probably because multiboxing isn’t against the rules.

Is gold farming? Because they just said to me “ah ok u mamaw” after I trained them with mobs and they feigned death and let their pets die, taking several minutes as one ran back because one died. lol

Why would gold farming be against the rules? I’m actually confused by the question.

Chinese gold farmers to sell gold on black market.

Well let’s be perfectly clear here. Selling gold for real life money is against the rules. Farming gold in game is not. You suspect someone is selling gold for money, but you have seen no evidence of that.

If you see someone selling gold for money, report it. If you see someone killing mobs to earn gold… well… no one is going to get suspended for that.

XD
How do you think they get the gold to sell for irl money?
There’s tell tale signs like int green rings on rogues, special characters endlessly farming the same location, multiboxers always in the same locations. These are not new signs.

No one should or ever will be suspended for “signs”. Farming gold in terrible gear is not against the rules.

This removes all doubt. Blizzard should hire OP and help take these bots out to the trash.

What is against the rules is putting character names on the forums with the intention of calling them out.

That is not what they are saying. Learn to read what is there and not what you want.

They are simply saying that there is no hard evidence to prove that these characters are the ones doing the selling of gold. These characters are simply farming gold.

So, farming for gold is against the rules, now? I don’t understand…
