I think a major thing that would bring people back to the game is adding some more cosmetics to the cash shop. Namely, the mage tower skins.
It’s literally been years since the mage tower was relevant content, I don’t think anyone would have an issue with opening the skins up for other people to enjoys.
You think selling earnable content skins is going to bring people back? Do you see how the forums react to a six month sub mount?

I would rather they just bring back the Mage tower, and scale us down to the correct ilvl to do it, for a chance at them. I know i collected a lot of them. But wasn’t able to do them on other toons that i wished i had.
actually I’d probably be ok if they took out the succubus and then put her in the cash shop but donated the proceeds to women’s rights.

I have nothing against the shop, but people can’t even handle the once in a blue moon mount on it. The mage skins reaction would be a nightmare. Better to just put them in game, but I don’t think they will. It’s very very rare for them to revive limited time rewards. The MT is gone.
But certainly not forgotten.

Still better then real money spending on something that honestly should be earned. And yeah AoE cap is trash. Needs removing : / But i doubt that blizz would ever consider that one. Maybe retune it to fit current times?
Yeah I wish Blizzard didn’t reinvent the wheel every 2 years, it makes keeping old content relevant impossible. FF14 does an extremely good job of keeping old content relevant.
