MSAA Anti-aliasing causing 132 Errors

Having an issue where trying to change the anti-aliasing to any MSAA setting crashes the game, even if I do it at character select screen (though the crash won’t happen til loading into the game world). Any other anti-aliasing setting does not cause crashes.

Graphics drivers were updated today after these issues began.

is your screen glitching as well everytime your charcter moves? same with me, trying to find out what to do, i updated addons and my driver, what gives?

Same issue here. Screen keeps glitching and everything is up to date.

I have a solution.

Got to advanced options and turn off “Multisample Alpha Test” Solved every problem I had with MSAA.

If this works for you, please share the information!

I can confirm this also. My GPU is Vega 56 newest drivers.

Not sure if this is my issue since I can’t even get into the character select screen, but do you know the config.wtf line for this option?

I had to change from Directx 12 to DirectX 11 and game runs smooth now

I have the same problem I updated my driver and still had the same issue. The only fix I found is turning MSAA off. :face_vomiting: I was able to turn on CMAA without issue. :persevere:

This solved everything for me, Thank you!

Seems to have solved it for me too. Cheers

The MSAA Error#132 issues have been resolved in the latest 19.4.1 drivers and above. Release notes here. Updating the drivers should also resolve this issue now.
