It feels like the rewards in dungeon and in vault are just a bit off to me. I think it feels weird that both myth gear and portals come from 10s. People are capped at 619 unless they do 9s and 10s.
Suggestion: Move vault myth track down to 9s and move gilded crests down to 8s. This makes a smoother incentive and upgrade path for people to progress in mplus.
I think that would be a good compromise between the DF system and the current TWW structure.

They moved up the rewards to more evenly line up with the difficulty of getting crests and myth track loot from mythic raid.

Sure seems like mythic 10s are harder than first 4 bosses of mythic raid by a significant margin.

Portals might be at 10 but the new “ceiling” for M+ is now +12 — when Bargain goes away and affixes are static moving forward, and the point where myth track gear becomes more important to have. Gilded crests start dropping 3 key levels below that threshold, which is fair.
so the ultimate reward for mplus isn’t portals, it’s running dungeons without dealing with bs affixes. lol, I respect that.

To fully upgrade 1 piece of Myth gear, that requires 8 or 9 timed runs. Not over time. Timed. For imaginary currency that identifies more as a number than gear.
At the difficulty rate of this season over all others, Myth gear should at least drop from 12s.
It’s fair in the sense that when 10s were the “peak” aspect crests were dropping from a few levels lower. It’s probably not fair in the sense of the increased difficulty of this season vs DF seasons.
That’s not a rewards ceiling at all though. The ceiling for non-percentage rewards is still 10s.
And significantly easier than the last 4, so it sounds like they hit a good balance spot to me.
Seems an oversight. Should be at 12s, which makes 9s dropping gilded crest more sensible. I expect some restructuring of the rewards, gear or otherwise, for S2 after they’ve evaluated how clunky S1 ended up.
The removal of rotating affixes at 12+ is specifically related to push weeks and skip weeks that folks complained about when pushing for score. I highly doubt it is anything less than intentional that this breakpoint is well above the portal level.
