Moving the Kaldorei off Kalimdor completes the Horde's attempt at genocide instead of safeguarding against it

It says “new home”. It doesn’t say “we’re moving our entire population that lived in a continent into an island.”

Every named npc moved to amirdrassil was in darnassus, not in Ashenvale, or Darkshore or any night elven city. This is their new capital and city, but they’re not moving away from Kalimdor, there isn’t any text that directly states that, just that they have a new place, a new home.

It’s been present since you joined the conversation :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh yeah, great. Kaldorei in the Dragon Isles that no one will ever go back to. New players having no idea wtf is going on. Great story

People still ignoring the writing away of Genocide.

Hold on, let me prove you wrong.

Ok, if you can point any evidence of “the night elves are leaving kalimdor” i will concede, or anything close enough.

Ugh! Then clearly my memory is going.

I wonder what the average new player leveling zone path is these days.

No, no. Don’t shift the goal post. EVERY NPC in Amirdrassil is from Darnassus only, right? Not the other holdings?

This dude was a quest-giver in Darkshore.

Seeming as a capitol city is around where cultural centres are made, Darkshore was blighted and Ashenvale and Azshara are in horde hands- where tf are they going??

Don’t be obtuse please,.

NPC from Silithus. SILITHUS. Not a refugee.

Here’s one from Val’shara! I included the chat box so you can see what he says about the Kaldorei PEOPLE (not refugees)

Ok, fair enough, but here is the interview bit i mentioned before:

"1. buffed : Worgen and night elves have disappeared from Stormwind on the PTR. Will they live in the Emerald Dream from now on?

Katherine Bankson: It’s potentially one of the new havens for the night elves, but I wouldn’t say it’s their only home. It’s certainly a place they can call home, but it’s not the only place. The night elves have experienced a number of tragedies over the past 10,000 years and have often had to look for a new home. They hope that they will find peace in their dreams and will not have to search for a new home again. For us, Amirdrassil is a place where you can rest until you find something new."

Again, nothing points for them leaving the areas they have full control and military dominance.

They don’t need to “rest and find something new” if they stay in their ancestral homelands. DUDE. HOW is this not clicking?

Sounds straightforward.

Kind of less straightforward, lol.

And Mithaelar already went over why it’s a bad thing to tell people “just live somewhere else, it’s fine” even though they have the power to make the Nelves whole again. “They’ve always had to find new homes” is false. They’ve actually had VERY FEW

They lost Teldrassil which was their capital, you can’t exactly rebuild there, the new city would have to be rebuilt somewhere and that would probably be feasible with a world revamp, shich they aren’t doing yet.

So amirdrassil is a temporary capital, a really cool one btw, until the old zones can be remade.

I mean, you could easily have Teldrassil replaced by Amirdrassil.

No, the question asked in the interview was: Will they live in the Emerald Dream from now on?

So, no, he isn’t even addressing Amidrassil itself :^) Clown shoes.

Amirdrassil doesnt have the same scale.

Why not? Just because it’s small in the DREAM doesn’t mean it can’t grow when it appears in Azeorth

I might have missed it. But why didn’t the Night elves just go to Mt. Hyjal? Or to Feralas which had a Elven City they could have just taken over and refurbished?

Or do what they did pre WoW and take back all of Ashenvale and live there?
