Moving macro?

I’m pretty used to making macros already so I know its a long shot, but I’ve recently come up with a recent idea with one of my game plays.

I was hoping if anyone knows if there is a condition where I can only use/ cast a item or spell only if i am moving my character or vice versa, only not moving my character.

like i know there isn’t [moving] but theres [combat] etc anyone know if this is possible?

No, sorry. If you search for “macro conditionals,” you can find a list of all of them. I’m not able to post links.

Pro Tip: You can put links in triple grave marks (the backwards apostrophe top left of your keyboard).

[moving] is not a conditional.

About the best you can do is set up a Weak Aura to put a shaded texture over the button in question when you are (or are not) moving. I do that with a number of my abilities on my Priest and my Mage (a visual reminder that “Ooops, you can’t do that one right now, you’re getting out of the fire.”).

Full list is here: https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Macro_conditionals

There are some specific workarounds. i.e., if the first spell fails to go off, the second will run. Ex: Druid mount
