I know there is a Addon section to the forum, but it gets little to no traffic. So, I’m posting here. MoveAnyThing is not getting updated as far as I know. Is there another addon out there where I can move and resize the original UI items. I’m not looking for an addon that replaces the original UI items, I want to be able to move and resize the original UI items. It seems like the only addon that can do that is MoveAnyThing, but maybe someone knows of another addon that does what I want.
Do you have a source that it’s not going to be updated? There was a time in Legion it felt like we weren’t going to get an update and then we got one.
Not all addon authors work at the same pace or with the same sense of urgency that us users may expect from them.

BlizzMove allows you to move around things like quest windows and such but it’s not as powerful as MA when it comes to resizing things. Might help you with some things until MA updates (if ever).

You are right. I shouldn’t have stated that. It might be a few weeks or months before we get a update. The author of the addon works very slowly.
Can I move the quest list? It’s default is on the right side. For some reason that bugs me to no end. I need it on the left.
I don’t think so but lemme check. Well, servers are down but I’m pretty sure you can’t.
??? It was updated for 8.3 and had no need for further updates so this doesn’t really mean much. It’s not the type of addon that requires enhancements during patch cycles if it’s already working, y’know?
Hopefully, we get an update soon. This is a really important addon.

Just checked and I was right, you can’t move the objective list w/BlizzMove.
Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but Bartender is up to date and could be an option for you (for some parts of the OG UI at least).
What’s funny is that I disabled MoveAnything because of all the error messages. But now I get one everytime I changes zones and I can still move everything around. I checked the U/I and it shows as disabled but mostly works. Technology, isn’t it grand!?

I have Bartender. It doesn’t do what MoveAnyThing does. I sent a message to the owner of the addon on Curse Forge.
Disabled with addons doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t loaded. It’s strange I know, but you may have to remove the folder for it completely before error messages stop.
Yeah, I had to delete the Altlasloot folder to get those errors to stop. For MoveAnything since it’s only one I don’t mind it. I was pointing out to the OP that the functionality seems to mostly be there still.

I love the MoveAnything addon, it is a bit of a must if you play across multiple monitors. The person caretaking it looks after a number of addons including ZPerl and Recount iirc which is an amazing effort. I imagine these will have greater priority. Praps a contribution to their efforts will encourage them. Which reminds me I have not in a while.
But yes, MA is causing errors at the mo unfortunately.

I believe the same owner of MoveAnyThing also owns Altasloot. He’s super slow at getting his stuff update.

I do hope it gets fixed. I’ve disabled it for now because it was causing massive lag.

Looking closer it seems to be just 1 error in my MA. So I’ve used the console command to suppress lua error popups 
[Game seems to be running ok otherwise, but I am on alert]
/console scriptErrors 0 [Ed. Decided to disable, lot of stuttering which I thought was the background dl, but when I disabled, game ran smooth 
]
I’m not really complaining, I appreciate everything the add on devs do. If it was up to me it’d never get updated. My mom is the programmer in the family, I have the technical ability of your average Luddite.
