Iv noticed when i do quests or anything that changes me or make me take over a Vehicle it no longer gives me the Vehicle bar and i have to disable the addon to make it work, Anyone else having this issue and know how to fix it?

every time i try to use that addon i have nothing but heartaches, lol

When up to date MoveAnyThing is one of the best addons. Unfortunately, from what I’ve heard the addon owner, who isn’t the original owner, I believe he took ownership of the addon several years ago, doesn’t really play WoW anymore. He hasn’t updated the addon in a while. I’ve heard he doesn’t intend to update it either.

Blizzard really needs to get with the time and give us a setting that lets us customize the whole UI.

Evilmuffin I had a question about your fix, since it’s my one issue/pain that I have to live with and it sounds like you have a fix (to actionbars getting messed up in MoveAnything):

Evilmuffin, I’m not entirely sure I understand your fix. When I get out of a vehicle, my actionbar gets screwed up. Are you saying somehow alter the vehicle action bar with XY and that should fix the main action bar from getting screwed, or something else? Will be willing to try if you could outline the steps, but thanks in any case.

It’s just a matter of making it work for you, and the tweaks you need. I can’t say for sure what will work for you and what will not.

All I do with things is I use bartender and moveanything. I make sure the art bar (the silver art bar that is on the default Blizzard bars, that has the gryphons on the end of each side) is removed. There are options for that in MoveAnything.
From there i just use both BarTender and MoveAnything to tweak things as I like them to be. When you click on BarTender, everything becomes green, including the vehicle box. If you don’t see it, then re-center it, because it may be hidden underneath something else. Again, I cannot say for sure, because I am not sitting in front of your computer and seeing what you see.

I was just saying that whenever I get into or out of a vehicle of most any kind, my MoveAnything will always require me to /reload my screen, because once my normal action bar returns - I can then no longer click any abilities on my action bar whatsoever, I can’t even see the number icon on the right of it. It just basically dies. Inescapable even after wiping everything and trying again. It sounded like you had a special way to move things and keep that from happening (even though I never modified my action bars)?

Moveanything seems to be wildly unstable now. Tends to be very unstable on a patch release and sometimes got better. It may not play well with other addons. Now that its not really been updated in a while, the only other option I can find if you want to move around the default interface is moveandimprove. I’ve mainly resorted to just using addons to handle my chief annoyances:

Bartender for action bars

Blizmove for allowing some frames to be movable (doesn’t permanently save the position so it tends to not break things)

S-T-F-U (remove the dashes to find it on curse - forum flags the word :P) to remove the talking head and other annoyances.

Plexus for raid and party frames - the micro icons with sweep timers are annoying on the default frames

The rest I use are more gravy but the above are the core ones I use the most.
