It makes no sense that on horde side currently the portal room had to be fitted in a hole in the orgrimmar walls. Move it somewhere it makes sense. Like for example Silvermoon where all the magical elves are living. It could also help to turn Silvermoon into the major horde hub. Please blizzard consider this when you next update the cities.
Nobody wants to go to Silvermoon, itâs ugly
Wrong. It is the prettiest city the Horde has.
You are free to have bad taste
No thanks? Until Silvermoon gets a revamp that city looks awful. And until at least the Forsaken get themselves resettled, there is no reason to create a central transit hub on EK.
That makes as much sense as the Alliance moving their main hub to the Exodar. And itâ's not like the orcs and trolls donât have strong magical traditions of their own.
(Statement): Suramar would like to have words with you.
Only the night hold is avaiable to walk in right now.
And itâs way more handsome than Silvermoon.
(Statement): Suramar is still a Horde city.
Hard pass.
Maybe next expansion⊠if there is a time skip⊠and the Alliance destroyed Orgrimmar⊠and Silvermoon is completely revamped⊠with an outer section that serves as the Horde capitol and an âOld Silvermoonâ section that maintains a strictly Sindorei aesthetic.
Let the Horde have like⊠the Ghostlands to move into and rebuild, if the Alliance destroyed Org during a time skip. Or let the squatters help build the newer âHordeâ sections.
I mean at this point in the setting, with how much teleportation magic is going around, shouldnât the Horde, with the Shalâdorei especially, be helping to form âportal roomsâ in every major Horde city?
Silvermoon and Suramar should both have portal rooms the equal of Orgrimmar, due to their ley-line rich construction, but even locations such as Thunder Bluff, and Highmountain should have more extensive portal networks added.
During the Azshara starter zones in Cataclysm the Goblins / Elves even found a Sacren Stone which specifically allows for the redirection of Ley-lines, so it shouldnât be too hard to make sure every Horde city has enough âley energyâ or whatever background need there is to let each city support a portal network.
Not to mention the Shalâdoreiâs magical expertise.
As for the Alliance:
It doesnât make much sense why Ironforge wouldnât have some sort of more sophisticated portal room, or the like. Or at least give them the airstrip that while being a âplaneâ gives the same in-game functionality as a portal.
The alliance uses a special portal that leads to their cozy portal room, couldâve done the same at the shaman stones, troll alley or odd space above the warchief building.
Last I checked, Thunder Bluff was stripped of itâs portal, like Ironforge.
portals are so soulless compared to zeppelins and boats
If we are moving the Horde portal room (Capital) Iâm voting for Thunderbluff. Second place vote would be a totally revamped Echo Isles.
You made this EXACT thread already:

Its funny cause silvermoon is suppose to be the horde most advance city yet it looks like a yellow orange turd.
Look, as much as I like Silvermoon, something like that isnât happening.
As compared to Orgrimmar which looks like something I dumped into my toilet this morning?
Orgrimmar looks like an Orcish Capital so i am not really upset. As it got a redo and is pretty fun to explore. Silvermoon is just a mess
