Not sure if it is a bug or a technical issue but I can only zoom out with my home and end keys and not with my scroll wheel. I can zoom in just fine but I can’t use it to zoom out.

Check your keybinds or clear and reset them.

Issue solved: For some unknown reason my scroll down was somehow unbound. Going to leave this up so people can see if it the same happens to them.

This was reported by a couple of people but doesn’t look like it was a major problem for most. Perhaps an add on you share caused this.
I disabled my addons and boom, scroll to zoom started working again.
Yep. Just now. Fixed it. Had to (re)bind my mouse wheel.

Thanks for the follow-up solution. I ran into this problem as well, and I think TradeSkillMaster was the culprit for me. It has some options you can enable to have the mouse wheel perform certain actions, so it might have cause the mouse wheel to become unbound.
I played around with my “Options” in the big red ?, and this is what worked for me. Go to “Mounts” Go to “Pitch Control”. Click “Default” EDIT: OK forget that. It worked for about 10 min. Now I’m back to the wheel not working again. Sheesh.
Edit your camera keybind via the options menu and reset it to mousewheel down.
Thats what I found was the problem.
May have been a bug as it was ww beta test at the time.
Disabled all addons, reset key bindings, mouse will scroll outside game but not inside. Also not working in both retail and classic. Scroll wheel was zooming in all the way to first person, now it doesn’t do anything. Everything has been updated. Even deleted WTF file and cache. Even tried a different mouse. Any help would be great.

I am having this issue on my son’s account as well. Tried all the fixes listed in this thread to no avail.
The mouse is constantly scrolling up, whether I’m on the character select screen or fully in game.
The issue was a setting in the Windows mouse settings, “Scroll inactive windows when hovering over them”.

Thanks for this, it has been driving me crazy! Most my toons are fine but a couple would not zoom out!
Which easpecially in pvp was annoying and in dragon racing!

The issue for me as well. Brand new installation on a new computer. Worked fine for the first hour of play. Logged off and came back on and the zoom out was unbound. No changes made to that keybinding on my end. Only changes in setting for me from stock install was AUTOLOOT and enabling both topleft and top right bars. -Edited- I should have made a point to say that rebinding the camera out to the mouse scroll solved the problem immediately!
