Mouseover macros not working when I put them on middle click?

been playing a resto druid, and making mouseover macros for everything because duh, but, I copy pasted the same macro for cenarion ward to use for lifebloom but it won’t work because I put it on the shift-middle click or even if I put it on normal middle click. It also doesn’t work if I put it on MB4 shift-MB4 MB5 or shift-MB5. It works if I put it on a number or letter. Anyone know why this could be happening?

This is what I’m using:
#showtooltip
/cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][] Lifebloom

tl;dr macro works if I put it on anywhere else on my action bar but not for middle click or MB4 or MB5 and it’s not those buttons being broken on my mouse bc other abilities work there.

edit: so it works if I am hovering the character, but not the unit frame. why and how fix other than “put it somewhere else on your action bar”?

Unit frames eat mouse clicks. You’ll need to use an addon like Clique or Blizz’s click casting thing.

ESC > Key Bindings > Click Casting

Now at the top right of the Click Casting window, you will see an option to open either your macro window or spell book. Click Macros and then scroll through your macros until you find the one you want to bind and click on it. It should appear in the Click Casting window. Now mouseover the new entry in the Click Casting window and press the keybind you want to use for it, including any modifiers (shift, alt, ctrl). Click Save, and it should work.
