I have some red dragon mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse someone bought me 2 years ago and Im ready to upgrade. I see a lot of suggestions for the g600 but I was wondering do most people bind their abilities to that mouse? Seems like it would be difficult for movement plus abilities. Any suggestions would be great and I was also wondering if anyone has noticed if wireless makes a noticeable difference?
You’ll get a variety of answers base on their use. I use mouse binds for cooldowns/health stones
For me I had a razer naga which had I think 12 buttons on the side and I really only used 3. Awhile my cousin would used all 12.
My current mouse keyboard.
CoolerMaster MK730 TKL (I rarely used the numpad) and Logitech G703.
From experience.
Corsair, Cooler Master, Logitech has great keyboards.
As for Mouse
Logitech is by far the best experience I had in both wireless and wired. Great customer service too. Mouse had the double clicking issue and they sent me a replacement within 2 days.
Razer was subpar for me in both mouse and keyboard awhile being fairly expensive. I had to argue with them to get an RMA replacement for my mouse. Constantly disconnecting, right click broke after 2 weeks.
I’m very fond of my Steelseries Apex keyboard. I forget exactly which model it is.
That’s what I do, I have my entire action bar at my thumb. As for movement, I do a combination of both keyboard and mouse moving, but even mouse only would probably work fine because my thumb is still free (how do mouse only people do things like strafe?)
I cant even imagine not using keyboard+mouse for moving. I strafe in circles a lot, I need both!
I have a g600
I set up bartender bars on screen. 3 blocks of 3x4. normal, shift+#, ctrl+#. I thought I was liking it. then realized I REALLY want a mouse with 3 side buttons I can map to shift/ctrl/alt, and then set up onscreen bars 1-5, shift+1-5, ctrl+1-5, alt+1-5. currently cant figure out how to get a mouse button to act like the shift/ctrl/alt keys well. grumble
