Prior to the patch, spells bound to the mouse wheel would only need one small move up or down to activate, after the patch I have to spin the wheel much further (like half a rotation) to get the spell to activate. Anyone else have the same problem?
Yes, I thought I was crazy but it is also doing it in the dungeon finder so it is a real problem. I tried wiping out wow and reinstalling and I still have the issue unfortunately. I am on MacOS.
I thought my mouse wheel was going wonky, even replaced the batteries in my wireless mouse and tried to blow any dust out of the things. I feel stupid now
Mac’s handling of mouse wheels have always been weird - probably because Apple doesn’t make any mice with scroll wheels.
I have kind of accepted that to have any kind of consistent experience with the mouse wheel I have to make big gestures.
Apple needs to fix this if they want Mac to be taken seriously as a gaming platform … frankly I’m getting mixed messaging here - on one hand they released a DX12 to Metal conversion kit, on the other they don’t support Vulcan at all; then there are things like the mouse scroll wheel issues.
I am on macOS as well. The part that is confusing is if you have a spell bound to shift mouse wheel up or down it work just as it should. It is just the plain mouse wheel binds that don’t work like they did in 11.1 and prior patches
