Mouse movement lag since new patch

Hi, when I hold down both mouse buttons in order to move around, which I need to do in pvp and some dungeons, my character will sometimes start moving, and stop, not move at all or stutter step around. Such as move forward and around, suddenly stop, and move again a few seconds later and stop again.

I am not sure what is causing this but it makes pvp impossible and when I just did mechagon for the mechagnome unlock, I had a lot of trouble on the conveyor belts and the alarm bots because of this. I have not had this trouble before and am not sure what is causing it or how to fix it. It is very frustrating.

I’m having the same problem even took off anything that would cause this like target to target ,etc still have lag ,only way to get moving is use the keyboard forward key. I wonder if it is the mouse?

Are you using a trackball mouse?

I am using a logitech trackman mouse. I have for years, and am very used to using it. But again, never had the issue before. Ive tried lowering graphic settings, doesn’t change it.

I don’t think its the mouse. its a new issue for me. I have no idea.

i cant move forward, click on my icon, turn by using the right mouse button. none of these are working. please help. i cannot play a game that all of a sudden is broke after a patch. i can play other games just fine, perfectly. i can play d3 like no ones business, but in wow, cant do nothing.

Ok,I found a way,screen resolution I turned it down just an hair and now there’s down lag nor studer.

That does not do anything for me. Seems unrelated.

Autorun works just fine, it’s just when I hold down the right mouse button to move around, it has this issue.

Autorun? you just hold the right button down? I use both left and right to run.

so the only time i can click on my icon to move it is being in a group and click from there ><

found a post on the eu forums about this issue. hope they fix it soon.

omg! this is beyond annoying! i am literally like slamming my mouse to do things in game! i have a feeling this isnt going to be addressed. cause only a couple of people are having this issue.

I wish this had happened to hundreds instead of a handful, cause then blizzard would react. instead, its a easy pass over.
maybe a week of not logging in will fix the issue.

I read elsewhere to go to system advanced and go down to graphics card and turn off auto detect. Select the video card. If that doesnt work go to a lower graphics api. this might help. Seems like it is for me.

I am having this issue PLUS my mouse wont activate anything in the action bars on the left side of my screen. on the right they work fine. if I move those action bars to the right of the screen then it works. lots of mouse issues sine the update.

people are saying to type /fstack to see what addon might be interfereing.

mouse issues seems to be the graphics card auto detect. try changing that.

turning off the graphics thing now disconnects me. so now i cant log onto my character

when i had typed in fstack, what am i looking for? cause i am guessing all addons are not working. so i am confused here.

i can use the left side of the screen but i cannot use the right side of the screen.

You are turning off auto detect and choosing your graphics card.

Fstack is showing you addons. you disable what it says to manually.

  1. i go into systems
  2. display. i scroll down to graphic settings
  3. hardware accelerated gpu scheduling. this is the only place to turn off my grpahic settings.
