Something happened that my left click isn’t working properly. I have to double click for it to register. For example, clicking on an ability on the action bar sort of selects it, clicking a second time makes it work as normal. Likewise in everything that is clickable such as the game options and so on.

I have the same issue, my left click stop working randomly. When click, nothing happens, then start working a couple of seconds later. Please fix it, this is frustrating.
are either of you using Logitech as yer mouse? I just got one, and it was fine for a few days, then suddenly… no clicky in game. everywhere else its fine. put in my other mouse… fine.
I’m having this same issue where I have to click something twice in order to interact with it. It almost feels as if when I click, that’s where the new cursor is anchored and it sticks there no matter where I move the mouse. Whenever I hover over another character or ability no tooltip displays unless I left click. Then I have to left click again in order to interact with the object. I haven’t found a solution yet, but below is what I have already tried with no results:
Reinstalled WoW_retail
Turned off all addons
Checked for corrupted files by renaming WTF, Interface, and Cache folders
Tried 2 other known working mice
As crazy as it may seems, I had the same issue and did the same things as Bingu except I unlpugged my charger to my MBP (Macbook Pro), renamed my Data folder to DataOld and suddenly everything worked. Not sure if this is a permanent solution.
far too often I’d (single) left-click, but a double-click occurred; drove me NUTS! Finally, decided to fix it. After much research, several troubleshooting attempts, came upon the solution:

… for precise control over mouse events; what solved my problem was found under >Settings [Advanced] “De-bounce (ignore) rapid mouse button clicks” = 50 (ms); also, I enjoy the mouse response when config = [Options] “Override Mouse Speed” w/ “Enhance pointer precision” where slider is @ 50%
FYI: using Windows 10; my research discovered this particular problem related to unstable Win10 mouse driver (software), as the mouse hardware diagnostic steps came back clean. Best troubleshooting article I found on the topic: windowsreport.com/mouse-clicks-twice-windows-10/
