Before patch everything was fine, but now after patch, i use mouse to turn around, and it goes turbo speed when turning and stuff, is that normal now? cause it never did it before, and i havent changed my play style or settings
Hey I am also having this problem. I tried disabling all my addons and changing my mouse to a different brand. Nothing has worked so far. What mouse do you have by chance? It only happens once in a while but when it does, it is always turning the camera with mouse. Literally 6x faster at least.
Howdy!
We are currently investigating a few known issues with the mouse. May wish to try enabling RawMouse see if that helps: /console rawMouseEnable 1
Having the mouse speed set to high may contribute to this issue occurring more often. If you are using any third party software for your mouse you may consider trying to lower the DPI settings.
Thank you.
A blue post reply. I will try that. Dumping my Interface, WTF, and Cache folders has not worked either.
Ok awesome, so its a known issue, i was like wtf…i would be running than turn and bam hit with turbo speed be like wtf lol …and i use logitech for mouse.
Ok. Yea I use a Razer Viper. And a Logitech G Pro Wired. Both are giving me the same issue. I do have fairly high DPI settings however.
i run g600 , but as i said i didnt touch any settings and it started doing this after the patch, was fine before patch, so something changed on blizzard end or something in my folder
This was a problem on the PTR. I reported it over 2 weeks ago I think. Apparently this used to be a problem as well in previous patches.
I tried both solutions.
- remove fps caps.
- /console rawMouseEnable 1
both DO NOT work. I failed a vision because of this stupid bug. I had a split second to repair my sanity, and I ran into a pack of easy mobs instead of away.
ugh…
I’m having the same problem. I have a Logitec G300S, if it matters at all. I’ve just used the suggested console command, so hopefully that helps until the issue can be fixed
Edit - After a few hours of playing, the command seems to have helped! Thank you, Zuvykree
Same problem with g502 hero se
Wish I saw this before I made my post. I’m having the same issue. Game is unplayable for me currently.
It’s clear many are having this issue and the issue is a result of the game. All of us have responded with different set ups and all experiencing the same problem as a result of the patch. Please add this to the list of current known bugs as this game is not playable for many people with this issue.
Yes. Currently only questing is tolerable…barely. Visions, Mythic+, and raiding are not possible with this bug. Blizzard needs to acknowledge the issue, add it to the list of known issues, and work to fix it. By not adding this issue to the list they are telling us it is not a priority for them and something they don’t want other players aware of. This should not have made it past PTR. Again, I reiterate… I’m only asking that this issue is acknowledged as a priority for Blizzard and added to the list. This is a request the customer service team should be capable of doing without engineering input.
I have had this issue randomly for months.
i have to close and restart the game to fix it.
using a Razer mamba 2012.
Hey people, got the same issue and I am doing /reload when it occur as a temporaty work around.
Cheers !
Hey there Gruumsh,
Could you try using this command and let us know if it works? The command is: /console cvar_default
Type it into chat just like an emote! Let us know if this helps or not. Thanks!
This did not resolve it for me
I am having the same issue, but it is erratic in its occurrence. it works normally and then every now and a gain it turns super fast, often resulting in my character doing a 180.
I have my dpi set to 1200 and use a macro in game to slow the mouse look speed further than what the game allows with the slider.
This is for a g502 proteus core, g502 Hero, but have not noticed it on a corsair nightsaber RGB so far (though that was only a few mins of testing)
I will try those commands after work and see if they help though
EDIT: this only started happening in 8.3 and was working fine before that
Still occuring…
This seems to have worked for my erratic mouse tracking, thanks
