Ever since 9.0 dropped I have been having the issue where my right click will not register and fails to move my camera. Let me preface this with I 100% know it is not Atlas Loot related. First of all, I don’t use that addon. Secondly, the issue is so annoying I just reformatted my entire PC and reinstalled WoW.
- Tried various mice (main mouse is Corsair Scimitar Pro)
- No addons installed.
- Did a complete reformat, reinstalled Windows 10, updated all drivers.
- Reinstalled WoW & Battle.net client from scratch.
- Moved mouse to various USB ports.
- Tried any and all “fixes” according to other threads and Google (i.e. vsync, /mousecommands, frame limiter, various graphics settings, monitor Hz, etc…)
It’s almost as if my character stops moving, the mouse “un-glues” itself from the right click, and the pointer reappears and keeps moving with my mouse across the screen (and not moving the camera like it should). It’s intermittent but can be reproduced with frantic right clicking and moving the camera.
Additionally, it seems to happen more when I’m strafing with “a” or “d” but happens without keyboard input as well. Also, holding down BOTH left and right click and spinning my mouse in a circle will keep my character moving in one direction but will spin the camera around my character (as apposed to controlling the direction of the character as normal).
This is by far the most annoying issue I have ever encountered in a video game and will answer any question, send any config/dxdiag file, or anything else to help identify a fix.
