Im using a Logitech G300S mouse for over a year. Warcraft used to recognize all my 9 mouse buttons since I have them even keybinded properly.
This week y formatted my PC, installed the mouse drivers and all that but now the game doesnt take my buttons.
The drivers come ith a software with profiles and all that things and my extra buttons are working fine, but the game only takes the first 5 and the extra 4 are not counting at all in the game.
I dont remember what I did last time to make it work but now it doesnt.
You probably made a wow.exe profile in the ghub and bound the extra buttons to actual key strokes like 7890-= on your keyboard. I know that’s what I’ve had to do with extra buttons on mice plenty of times when games are picky about it.
What I did was for mouse buttons 6-9, I assinged those in the G-Hub app to keyboard buttons 6-9 (use what you need) and mapped my macros to those keys.
I opened the software for the mouse and loaded a profile for Wow. The software can detect it but you can pick it or make it a new one from scratch.
Then (and I forgot this part) had to add to the profile wich game is it gonna use it. I pressed the + and located the Wow.exe and it started working perfectly.
I unbinded all extra buttonsin the profile, so they dont emulate any other thing.
Now I can use my extra button freely with macros, shift and other things.
