What can be causing my mouse cursor to remain looking like a pick axe or a flower bunch from herbing …all of sudden today every time I mine my cursor remains a pickaxe and when I herb a herb my cursor is remaining a flower bunch look…any ideas?
Do you tab out of the game frequently or use multiple monitors/accounts? I have this issue if i tab out and back into the game. It seems to retain the icon from what I was doing prior to tabbing out. I think doing something else that changes the cursor causes it to go back to normal or it just eventually goes back to normal on its own.
I’ve experienced this since at least May last year. It looks like my original bug report (see below) was not as comprehensive, though, because I’ve since discovered you only need to have one game instance open. It seems like it’s the tabbing to other applications to causes it to stick for me. If I am using two game instances, I’ll just have two stuck cursors.
I’m somewhat used to it now that I’ve had the issue for so long, however it’s very confusing when it’s stuck on the loot icon and I’m searching for corpses that don’t exist or have already been looted.
(Editing to add: I am also on a Mac, but not sure if that makes a difference).
Yes I do tab in and out …guess that is it…never had it happen on my other laptop or desk top though …it might be this laptop I got the other day its not really high end gamer laptop but I can play and do what I want to do…mim stuff …I thought it might be m y addons but nope it was still happening with addons off…
