The rawmouseenable command just introduces another issue of the mouse cursor moving when turning the camera with right click, it’s not a proper fix. I’ve lost faith in this ever getting fixed since it’s existed for so long, pretty sure every player has the issue, they just either don’t notice it or are used to it.
Just want to chime in here. I have noticed this issue since the start of Classic. What I didn’t take into account was that I hadn’t played WoW since Dec 2018. Between Dec 2018 and the release of Classic my hardware setup changed. Specifically I started using Synergy on the computer where I was playing Classic. The issue wasn’t bad enough for me to lose my mind until I started doing the 4 demons for the Hunter quest. The Winterspring demon in particular was impossible as the camera would snap during kiting and I would find myself running toward him and would get the debuff every time. Today I finally decided to disable Synergy and low and behold the snapping stopped…This is obviously not going to be a normal setup for most, but just in case someone comes along and they happen to be using Synergy I thought it might be helpful to have this documented.
I have been having the same issue for the past week or so. It happens like 50% of the times when i turn the camera to the left while moving. The camera will quickly skip back and then return to the position i was aiming for, not actually game breaking but can get annoying.
I’m positive this is only happening in WoW
Hey y’all,
At this point, this post keeps getting necrod and we’ve already discussed the bugs/work arounds if you scroll through the posts. Since tech support doesn’t support bugs directly, I’m locking this thread. You can check the article I reference here for more insight into those work arounds:
If that fails, you want to create your own thread to get individual help.
