I’m probably in the minority, but I have physical issues with my hands/arms, so… yes.
Even an hour or two of herb farming wears down my nerves. Running multiple raids/etc isn’t really an option.

Don’t forget how long it takes to get rank 3 for the herbs you farm like good god on the same day you get rank 1 herbs. IDK how ppl do it :frowning:

I actually have Rank 3 on most herbs. Guess I got lucky.

Shop mounts are generally unique and not available elsewhere; these are literally just reskins of reskins. That being said 50k gold or 90k gold are both asinine for them. Even 10k is pushing it. Unless of course we go back to having the ship missions pay 2750g in which case I’m fine with it. But at about 250g per mission, get rekt Blizz.

I love how goblins always forget that if “everyone” started farming the hell out of herbs like they asked the market would crash and reduce prices to nothing.

It probably will. If it doesn’t, it’s effectively a dead mount for me. Who in their right mind would pay 90K for reskinned gryphons and pterodactyls?

My cynical accounting brains says they are doing this as part of a plan -

  1. Introduce meh mounts at inflated prices.
  2. Introduce OMG amazing mount as an achievement for which you need the meh mounts.
  3. Sell tokens so people buy the meh mounts (and/or increase their hours played metric to get the gold)
  4. Profit

My optimistic cookie baking side thinks is just the PTR so we shouldn’t get worked up until it hits live.

How is this being a white knight? saying you can farm and play the game? lazy boy 90k isnt a lot. Not that you even play it to begin with.

Self-professed “goblins” arguing for inflated prices always makes me laugh. You would think people that fancy themselves virtual economists would understand the value of not wasting your money on products that lack the quality to justify it.

You wouldn’t pay 50g for a single Dreamleaf. Why are you willing to pay 90k for a recolored mount?

Why pay 900% more money for something almost exactly the same as what you already own-- the one and only difference being the completely subjectively valuable aspect of color?

Real goblins are out buying Brutosaurs, spiders, fluffy chickens, rare Black Market transmog, items left over from before the Cataclysm removed their sources and the like. They’re using their gold for quality investments and worthwhile expenditures. Those things are gold sinks. Those things are direct rewards made with love and care for breaking your back to play the auction house game.

Faintly recolored versions of mounts that are already available for 10% of the price are not worthwhile expenditures by any stretch of the imagination. They do not reward players for earning gold. They punish them for liking the color green.

yep. So I am the hero? Can I get a hero discount. Since, you know, I kind of save your peoples butts…again.

And usually they put some pizazz to the store mounts. I wasn’t happy with the 10K I paid for the order of embers horse. But…I wanted a black horse. These don’t come up as often as brown. I swear by the time WoW dies they will have done every brown possible by standard color indexing know to webmasters and coders.

Also some of the shop mounts rate the money. I love my jet powered dual headed flying lizard.

Then don’t buy them.

I don’t get why there’s a complaint? These aren’t particularly appealing mounts… just things to add to the bean counter. You don’t HAVE to have them so if you feel like they’re priced wrong, don’t buy them.

Yep. If a mount costs more then 5k it better have some cool damn features or I’m not buying it. I think even the spider has a silly price.

Who’d spend that much on a skin? I don’t understand.
