Mounted Mining gone for Old World mounts?

I am guessing they took it away for some reason, but why? It never said had to be a dragonriding mount to get the profession bonus.

You can still mine in DF zones on old world mounts, you just have to be grounded. If you are even a millimeter above ground, or the node, you get dismounted when you mine.

This is the part I wish they would fix. If you’re flying while herbing it just says, “You are flying.” Some mounts make it hard to tell if you’re fully grounded or not.

It always dismounts you in druid flight form even if you literally park on the ground and watch the wings fold back up. On other mounts if you do land it wont dismount.

Unfortunately they said this was intentional and there is no fix.

There is that node in the plains in the middle of a cliff that was nagging me all of DF. Requires some fancy dragon riding to land on it. Was finally to hover mine it… Back to landing then. Least I won’t need to fancy it.
