Is there any way to be on a mount and engaged in melee combat in Mechagon?
Im looking for further information on something that happened. To be clear it was not a jet pack it was an actual mount and this player was in combat with me and using standard abilities for the class.
I also did 560k damage to them in a short time span and their health never dropped below 90% and quickly topped any time it dipped. My details did not show any enemy healing. Also it was not a tank spec.
This happened in a secluded area with no other players around.
I had combat with this player several times when other players were around and none of this happened and combat seemed pretty standard.
I dont want to accuse someone of exploiting until i have more info
Any info or plausible ideas with the info i provided would be appreciated.
A prot pally can use abilities while divine steed is up. /shrug

To clarify they were mounted the entire time on a Moose type mount.
There is an item that allows you to remain mounted.
Ty. That is a BS item i use to make them. It only allows you to Mine / herb ect i dont believe it allow for mounted combat. Im also pretty sure its only for the broken isles

I think that limits you to legion zones though

There’s a rare client glitch that shows a player on a mount while not actually on a mount. If he was getting around at normal running speed it could have been that.

This is what i was hoping for so perhaps. The class i was facing has great mobility so it could have been hard to tell. The reason i have question is that i was not able to budge his health at this time but during the rest of our fights in more public areas i was dealing heavy damage to him.
I’m not being flippant when I say this. It’s tough out there for a Ganker now. Some players are very good at not showing or saving their “good stuff” for only when it’s needed.
It is a learning experience.

Im pretty nieve when it comes to what hacks/exploits are out there. I would be curious to learn though. I have no interested in using them (if i cant win a fair fight then i deserved the L) but i would like to know what to look for and have awareness if others are using them.
