Similar to how Dragon riding give you a new set of abilities while riding, what if regular riding (flying and grounded) gave each class abilities (both combat and non combat). Also giving peoples mount a health pool you need to burn to dismount.
No, stop trying to incorporate mounted combat into the game. Mounts are for travel, not combat.
