Mountain Thane looks terrible

if Mountain Thane allows prot warriors to perform DPS akin to gladiator stance, I’m for it.

If not? What was even the point of these Hero specs honestly. They’re just… more of the same but with a slightly different appearance.

Well enhancement shaman is very squishy so ill happily play my gral pirate warrior has a shamanistic warrior of the storm thank you very much

I think I am going to say that my Night Elf Warrior is wearing a belt made of a Chillwind Chimaera to explain his newfound lightning abilities.

I think the theme looks awesome!

It’s totally thematic and is from the dwarf in Wc3

I dont see why you would use both, Thunderclap does more damage, has a slow, and low cooldown. By the time you used your cleave it should be back up and you will just Thunderclap again.

So the choices for warrior are… thunder and lightning, spinning all the time, or rooted in place all the time… This may be the first expansion i actually dont buy.

People are entitled to their opinions, but man… Mountain Thane and Slayer look awesome to me and I may actually pull my Warrior out of retirement. Haven’t done anything with them outside of reaching max level since maybe MOP.

Depending on how Totemic and Stormbringer look for Shaman… I might just be retiring from being a healer and go back to “zug zug, lok’tar!” again.

Ummm…

Checks notes

muradin bronzebeard, the og maintain thane, used two weapons. He’s a fury warrior.

I originally was somewhat against Mountain Thane cause I felt like lightning doesn’t have a place for Warriors… and while I still kinda feel that way I think I’ve had a bit of change of heart.

The more I think about it the more I like it. I’m a Horde player primarily so the class fantasy of a Mountain Thane doesn’t really vibe with my Warrior but at the same time… Blood and Thunder lol if they nail the visual and sound and it feels robust and strong I don’t think I have too much of an issue with it. I will probably use it for Prot spec and Slayer for Fury spec.
