Mountain Dew promo not available outside US!

Can blizz make these available outside US for those of us that live eleswhere, Wow is a world wide game not just US. We pay good money to play this game and we should not be left out of promos.
Please let blizz know where you are from so we can put pressure on.
New Zealand here.

It’s not that blizzard doesn’t want to do the promotion

its that countries have laws and regulations that have to be followed, and they aren’t allowed.

I do not feel even a little bit guilty, Brazil ( for one) sells these beautiful little mini pickup truck sport utes that I want so bad, but they don’t sell them here, because they are not up to United States emission standards, so finally WE have something nobody else can have .

I see you guys down there posting your hot utes and I wish really bad they had Catalytic converters on them for the US and I am totally jealous.

Drinking Wow mountian dew is a minor victory, but Ill take it!

I can say this with 10000000% confidence.
Not an ActiBliz thing and significantly more a regulations thing.

So this isn’t my first rodeo regarding my location impacting my ability to participate in these promos. I also tried for the Mountain Zu Mount in FFXIV with no joy.

So what are the deets Elk?

  1. Mountain Dew Gaming is only marketing towards US citizens. For regulatory reasons it is highly likely it’s even blocked in your country.

  2. Mountain Dew in Australia and New Zealand is actually different to the one you see in the US. Here Asahi (yes the beer company) has licensed the use of the brand and produces and sells it here. They license it from PepsiCo who sell it in the US.

  3. Australian and New Zealand consumer laws are very strict leaving it still a hit/miss on if they’d go through even if they did want to put the promotion through Asahi.

riight. But they are asking for a way to partipate in the promotion if said country is a stick in the mud for fun. I live in Japan but I’m a us citizen. I miss out on all of these kinds of promotions. I’m not about to spend a ton of money to import soda.

Even if you import the website will be blocked in JP. They block VPN too.

I hope this time they learned the lesson with the bike and now retain the rights of those items to put them in the trading post later.

Yep, I wanted to do the promotion when it was on in FFXIV too. No joy!

(Tried about 30 different nodes in NordVPN and Mudfish).

No they cant, other country laws prohibit it.

I asked many times same thing but this is mountain dew supply problem, not blizzard!
use your friends, family or anyone who can help you out in US is the only way for now…

If by chance you are DoD associated…play on a base wifi.

Lots of them don’t vpn. they straight up tunnel to US counterparts. as most MWR’s here are branches to the US. When I use one I magically become…Virginia.

If not an option, yeah…I am a murican in Japan too. I gave up the vpn fights for US netflix and use the JDM one since I live offbase.
